These shoes are excellent. I originally started wearing them because my back felt noticeably better when walking around in them, and the support has been great. After my Achilles repair surgery, they became an important part of my day-to-day recovery. While I was still in a walking boot, the sole height of these shoes made walking more balanced and comfortable. Once the boot came off, they continued to provide excellent support for my repaired ankle. They give me the stability and comfort I need as I get back on my feet. One of the most comfortable pairs of sneakers I've ever owned. Lightweight, with excellent support. My only concern is that they look a bit fragile, so I’m not sure how long they’ll last. The first thing I did when I got them and saw them in person was buy - right here on Amazon - a big toe hole preventer (which you stick inside the shoe). I’ve had other sneakers that ended up getting holes right at the big toe, exactly because they had that mesh material on top, just like these do. One of the most comfortable shoes out there! With that said the comfort does come at a price. That price being quality for the cost is lacking. This shoe under heavy use will last maybe a month or 2 at most. I have planter fasciitis, and this shoe has helped me get through some arch pain when worn. The softness of the shoe comes at a price that it wears out very fast. The bottom will start pealing in a few weeks if worn heavy and if your unlucky like me the wire in the shoe can wear through and impale the bottom of your foot (Its a very small wire probably part of a wire mesh used in the shoe). I have gone through many shoes, and this is one of the most comfortable ones I have tried. They just don't last long unfortunately. I have purchased multiple pairs. Now I will have to continue my search for a good work shoe for my foot. I will likely continue to use these for some casual use, until I find a better at least.
