For this middle aged guy with consistently dry eyes, especially at night, this is the best contacts solution I've ever used, by far. I've been using it for years, with no side effects. definitely seems to condition the contact lens while it soaks/sterilizes, so that they just glide on the eyes for hours, with a sort of "buffered" feeling between lens and eye. after wearing daily disposables for many hours, if I go out again same day, I just wash hands, take lenses out for a sec, very gently rub with small amount of solution between my thumb and forefinger, rinse briefly, and pop 'em back in for the rest of the day. poof: comfortable eyes for hours more, with little to no dryness. now, I can wear them essentially all day/night, with just one solution rinse at the day's halfway point. I pair this with single-use preservative free drops I keep in my pocket. Dr told me preservative-free disposable singles don't irritate the eye so much. he recommended well. together, my eyes don't get nearly as dry as they used to. Big bottles, great price, what more can you ask for. I have used other opti-free brands for my contacts and this has been the best so far, I use my contacts up to 12 hours a day some times more and I do not have an issue with these drying out. When I put them on they feel comfortable all day long. I wear contacts lens everyday now, while using other solutions for my contacts lens they would dry out quickly and get blurry during the day and I would have to run home to get them in the contact lens case and switch to glasses or I would constantly carry around eye drops. This product is awesome. It cleans and stores your contact lenses. There is no need to "rub" your lenses clean when you use Pure Moist, which helps tremendously if you want to save the life of your contact lenses. I pop them in the case at night before going to bed and by morning, my lenses are fresh, clean, and comfortable again. I just give them a rinse from their overnight soak, and put them on. This is probably one of Alcon's best products. I'm very happy with this stuff. PS: This double pack gives you MORE product. It is just as good as buying it at the store, and it is really cheap. I use it for daily contacts. I just splash a little fluid on my contacts before I insert them into my eyes. Read more
