Best batterys

Andy PernaFebruary 26, 2026✓ Verified purchase

I've always been a fan of OPTIMA batteries. they hold a charge for a long time and have exceptional cranking power. Years ago I was an insurance adjuster and had to have a computer and printer working off the battery. after less than an hour of computer work the car wouldn't start without a jump. Installed one of these and never ran out of power. Read more

Lasts Longer and worth the cost.

J.D.November 14, 2020✓ Verified purchase

I just replaced the Optima Battery I installed Sept. 26, 2016 with the same one, on Nov. 13, 2020. This Battery probably would have lasted longer but my Alternator failed and I drove the car home 15 miles on just the Battery, 3 weeks after I replaced the alternator. I went to start the car yesterday (11/12/2020) and when I turned the key the usual dash lights and gauge lights did not illuminate and there wasn't even the usual click from the starter it was also 17 degrees outside. I checked the Battery with my Multi-tester and it registered 3.6 volts. I used to get my Car Batteries from Walmart, El-Cheapos and get maybe 2 - 2 1/2 years not much more. I never had a Car Battery last over 4 years. The Battery cost more than I could get for the 1999 Nissan Sentra 1.6 liter, with 220,000 miles on it, that it's in, but I work the graveyard shift and the last thing you need is Car trouble and what's even worse is during Utah winters, and as long as it gets 25 City / 45 High-way mpg. I'll keep driving it . I also replaced the Pressed Plastic Tank Radiator with a Griffin Aluminum one it's been in there 10 years. I will continue to buy and install Optima Batteries in all my vehicles. I also have one in my Subaru Outback, and that Optima Battery has only 2 years 7 months use on it. Thank you Optima. Read more

Best Group 35 Battery!

Gigi GiurescuFebruary 18, 2026✓ Verified purchase

1 of the best batteries you can buy! Group 35 is a perfect fit for the Infiniti G37s Coupe, much lighter than the OEM battery and stronger with 720CCA most Group 35 don't go over 650CCA. Starts are instant, cranks up and starts immediately! Highly recommend! Read more

My Titan Stopped Roaring - Not Even a Meow!!!

ThatGuyWithStuffAugust 8, 2012✓ Verified purchase

I installed this thing after my so called 80 mo battery died. Fired up my Titan with MagnaFlow Exhaust & 3 1/2" - 4"" inch Tru-Flo Air Intake and the damn thing Roared like a Lion! Hmmm, maybe I'll post a video so you can hear it.... OK ok, so the battery had nothing to do with the sound, but it made the truck start really quickly - I mean it turned the thing over like it was mad at it or something. LOL - Well if you need a good starting battery, then get it... I've had it installed for about two weeks now, and I've completely drained it twice with interior lights and radio while working outside at night. It's still kickin' - I know it warns against deep cycling the battery, but I didn't do it on purpose. Anyway - so far - so good! I like the battery. I'm not gonna propose to it yet, but I do really like it. Hope this helps somebody. UPDATE: Feb 22, 2013 ------- OK - it doesn't roar in the winter - it clicks! it hasn't dropped below 30 degrees here, and all I get are clicks in the morning... I've disconnected my stereo turn-on lead, so the second battery and amps are not engaged by the PAC-500 solenoid, and not pulling from the alternator while driving, or coincidentally pulling the main battery (Optima) down during start. I'm using a jump-starter to start my truck when I hear the clickety-click. I will see if this clicking crap keeps up, and when I'm bored as hell, like I am right now, I will come back and update this posting! UPDATE: MAR 18, 2013 ------- Seems to be fine. 1) My negative cable end was tightened to the max, and was still loose on batt terminal, so I squeezed it together with pliers, and tapped it back down onto the battery terminal. 2) I had the batt tested before step 1 above and it was at 33%. 3) I drove truck to charge batt, but had to use my jump starter a couple more times in morning & once after work 4) I disconnected my stereo, drove it on the hwy, etc to charge up the battery 5) Has been starting just fine, even on coldest mornings here which have been down to 31F. FINAL UPDATE: JUNE 16, 2013 ------------------------- I DITCHED this battery last week for a DIFFERENT BRAND, and now my truck starts every morning - no clicks!!! Fortunately I had a jump box that started my truck every time this thing decided it wanted to take a nap. I replaced it with an O'reilly Autoparts Extreme battery. The last Extreme I had lasted 3 1/2 yrs in the Georgia heat, and with the factory Rockford Fosgate entertainment and Nav package. The Extreme has a 5 yr warranty that I did not use the last time, cause I could not remember where I bought the damn thing from. - LOL - yeah I know! Anyway, seems only a small percentage of these Optima batteries actually work. Shame, because they built such a great reputation for excellent batteries, now it's ruined. - These new ones are pure crap! 180 Degree turn on my initial review - This is a piece of Shieza!!! No Warranty - No Return - No Working = No Buy!!! Read more

My car's battery was dead as a doornail

Cat MartinMarch 26, 2025✓ Verified purchase

I tried jumping it, tried charging it - nothing. I've owned the car for a couple of years now and that battery was in it when I bought it (and my car is older), so I have no idea how long it was in my car prior to my purchase. So...while I wish batteries weren't so expensive, this one is right in the costs of recommended batteries for my vehicle. I also did check on the cost to have someone bring a new battery which also required I pay for installation meaning TWICE (and a little more) than the cost of this battery!!! I have very little money to spare, so...I bought this battery, took out the old battery, although I had to have help to get the old VERY heavy battery out (my male next door neighbor helped pull it out of the engine bay as I am a 70-year-old lady with no upper body strength. This battery was actually lighter weight so I could pick it up and set it on the battery plate and that is the only downside is that this battery came with a bottom that could be used on the old battery platform EXCEPT that the way my battery platform ties down is this long screwtop with a J-hook bottom that hooked into a small spot in the original battery platform and the ones that were sent with this battery didn't have any way to use it with that J-hook and screw-top piece that was NEEDED to tie down my battery. Other than that, I was able to tie down and hook up this battery very easily. I did my little prayer that the car start after hook up and my car purred to life and works so well my neighor who stopped to see how I was doing said, "You just replaced the battery?" His eyebrows up, he added, "And it's running?" My car runs so quiet even with the hood still up he couldn't hear it running! So, all I can say is while I wish batteries weren't so dang expensive, this one worked perfectly. I'm happy with it as my car is back to running - what's not to love about that? Read more
