This is an excellent electric toothbrush. I use this basic model that works very well and lasts for many years. I appreciate its reasonable price and, somehow, I get the job done without Bluetooth! I've not experimented with the variety of brush heads and have stayed with the FlossAction head that seems to work very well. It's also easy to bring along on a multi-day trip, as it's small and easy to pack, and I leave the charger base at home because the batteries can handle two brushings a day for four or five days. This is my second purchase of this toothbrush. The first one lasted me three long years, which is a lot considering not only how affordable it is, but also how little most electronic products last these days. I wanted to leave a review to encourage anyone who’s thinking of getting an electric toothbrush to consider choosing this one because it’s a great product at an unbeatable price point. The charge holds for quite a while, and its vibration is really powerful. You can feel how much work it’s doing to clean! The small size means it reaches into all the small spaces inside your mouth without any oral gymnastics, even the teeth waaaay back there. The 2 minute timer is very useful as it makes it effortless to brush for the right amount of time recommended by dentists. It makes a chore into an oddly satisfying pleasure! Bought two of these (Vitality or 500 model) as Christmas gifts for my children. Also bought two of the more expensive ones (1500 model) for my husband and I. I was very uncertain when deciding which to purchase for my the children vs. my husband and I. The less expensive brush is equally effective as the other. The difference is in features, not functionality. We are very pleased with all four brushes. The toothbrush has exceeded expectations. Paying more, for the expensive models, is not necessary. These clean teeth just as well for a fraction of the cost. Now my kids, 6 & 10, look forward to brushing their teeth. Read more

I love the way this toothbrush cleans! It really does leave your teeth feeling like you just came from the dentist. After one use I saw a difference so I can’t wait to see what changes a month brings. The CON- all the reviews complaining about water and a funky smell in the handle. They are true. It’s the way the toothbrush is designed. The head has a hole in it. While brushing that portion gets wet and there is no barrier to prevent it from leaking down into the handle and through where the silver attachment area is. After one use I heard water in the handle so I removed the head and turned the toothbrush on while upside down. The water shook out of the brush! It’s moisture so I don’t know if this will prevent the smell in the long run. I store my toothbrush without the head on upside down in a lipstick stand so that any water can leak back out instead of fall into the handle. I’m hoping this aids with the drying inside as well. A lot of steps to take for caring for your toothbrush but right now I can’t afford the more expensive one. If you have the cash I would go with a more expensive one. It’s just not worth the headache of trying to prevent water from getting into the handle of you can afford a better quality brush that doesn’t have this issue. Read more

Great tooth brush 3 speeds----Good price & been using These oral-b for years--- I have 2 morning & nite....This model does not have a rubber EZ grip ---So hard to hold if you get it wet---Thats the only negative on this, who knows why they did this ? .....Does a good job cleaning with the proper brushes ....has 30 second timer on it ....... I've used this Vitality Floss Action toothbrush for about three years. I purchased this one as a replacement, not because I needed to, but because I felt like the toothbrush had become a bit grungy after three years and I saw that these were on sale. The toothbrush maintains a charge for quite a long time. We only have one outlet in our bathroom and I frequently don't notice that my wife has unplugged it to use the hair dryer. I can use the toothbrush twice a day for at least a week before I notice a decline in brushing power and for at least two weeks before it runs out. The two minute time is also quite useful. I haven't tried the much more expensive models that are out there--I'm sure that they are great, but for this price point, I think it is an exceptional value. I didn't rate it high for traveling because it doesn't come with any sort of travel case that would keep the head of the brush protected. I keep a travel toothbrush in my toiletry bag that is not an electric toothbrush for this reason and I always enjoy going back to the electric toothbrush when I'm done with my travel. Great value!
