Great price for the quanity.
The fragrence is delightfully pungent. The amount of spice for the price was very good, I bought this for a batch of paella, and with saffron being so savory and fraguent it will perfect. And I can make many dishes of paella! Read more

Fresh and aromatic.
The aroma is wonderful and it's in glass not plastic which is preferable. I add it to my regular loose, organic tea and I love it. Well, I'm drinking this stuff for my health, and I add PLANTATION blackstrap molasses and cacao -- all organic. Then I put some organic half and half in it, and it's not too bad. I was using BETTER THAN HONEY molasses and after using Plantation, there's no going back. But saffron is supposed to be very good for you, so that's why I use it. I've bought three so far. Use 3-5 strands in your tea. Read more

It's a very tiny jar which isn't full. It's like one of the mustard jars you get in a gift tray. I'm sure the quality is good, and the flavor is good, but it won't last long for tea. At least it wasn't terribly expensive, unless you consider the price per ounce. Read more
