I wanted to upgrade my USB hub to USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, but the fastest I could currently find is this one at USB 3.2 Gen 2. I replaced my previous Orico hub with this one because it has USB-A and USB-C options, and it can do up to 10Gbps of transfer speed. The design is clean and compact. You connect your computer to it on the right side, and you provide power to it via a USB-C to power plug on the left side. And in the middle are two USB-A ports and two USB-C ports. This hub is really speedy if you have a modern computer that meets new USB specs. Also of note is that you must have USB cables capable of those speeds. You'll find that some cables are starting to imprint the speed at the ends of their cords. Overall, this is a convenient hub to have that's speedy and stylish. I would definitely make sure you have the ports and cables necessary to take advantage of the high transfer speeds. Read more

I’ve gone through several usb hubs over the years. This is one of the better ones. It’s non-slip, so it sits firmly on my work table. It’s low profile, so it’s not too intrusive. Negatives are that it doesn’t really have enough usb-c ports - and one of them is power only which limits functionality. The other big issue for me is cable management. I never know what to do with a plethora of usb cables that are too long and get all entangled up with just laying out exposed. Wish I could find a good multiport powered hub with cable management - but I’ve never seen one. That’s the main reason why I gave this one 4 stars instead of 5. Read more

(Window users): I liked the design and the speed is good. The problem is every other weeks or so the connected drives become undetectable unless powering on&off the deck. Sometimes at the middle of an important copy this happens and I need to restart the hub. Now I read the reviews and see some other people experienced similar problems. I haven’t tried this hub on my MacBook yet, but so far my experience with this deck is upsetting. Update: the customer service is so friendly and helpful. They contact me and gave me a full refund. So I changed the stars to 3 Read more
The hub feels very nice and solid and it's has great speed. At first the power adapter was of a slightly different spec than what is labeled on the back of the hub but the seller solved the issue eagerly and quickly. Read more
I tried a number of USB 3.2 10gbps hubs and they were all unreliable. I have maybe returned 5 or 6 of them and almost gave up, but then I decided to order this one and I was pleasantly surprised. This unit seems to work great and I haven't run into any of the issues I had with all the other hubs, including random disconnects, USB 3.2 peripherals operating at USB 2.0 speeds and sometimes not being detected at all. I do wish it had the individual port on/off switches that some of the other ones had, but who knows maybe that contributed to the overall unreliability. Read more
