I've had this bag for 2 years now. It's my gym bag so it's packed with sauna shoes, shower toiletries, spare workout shirt, spare workout pants, swim suit and extra socks. One inside zippered pocket has a pair of yoga socks and I still have tons of room and pockets left over! I keep a 20 oz Camelbak water bottle in one of the bottle holders (there's one on each side) and it fits perfectly- I've had water bottles squeeze out of their holder and roll across the floor and parking lot before, so this is important to me. It folded so well it fit with my luggage, and I used it as a tote wherever I went so I didn't need a separate purse because it's waterproof, quality fabric. We spend a lot of time at the pool every summer. I prefer to throw my basic purse stuff in a bag other than what I use for non-pool time so it if gets dirty, sandy, or wet on the outside, I'm not left with a soggy regular purse. I keep various odds and ends in there that are specific to the pool, like an insulated pouch for keeping electronics insulated and dry if needed, sharpies for swim meets, a backup phone battery, waterproof bandages, my sun hat, etc. other than my basic purse things (mainly my wallet, phone, keys, etc.). The bag I had used for the last probably 5-6 summers seems to have lost any water resistance that it used to have, plus I was ready for a new one. I've only had the bag for a little over a week, but have gone to the pool 3 times. It hasn't gotten a major test yet (water spilled on it, wet towels thrown on it, etc.). but it seems to be reasonably water resistant on the outside. It's perhaps slightly bigger than I actually need - maybe I should have gone with the smaller size - but this gives me the flexibility to throw in a towel and bathing suit and go to the pool on my own with the basics of what I need. So I'm fine with it being maybe a little big for my purposes. It has a couple of zip pouches inside the bag, which is useful for the smallest items, and one outside. The fabric and print of the pattern appear to be good quality so far. It's overall lightweight for anyone for whom that is a major consideration, without being excessively flimsy. My main suggestions so far for any new iterations of this bag would be to have the bottom on the bag be a little firmer and maybe have an added layer of fabric for protection (I personally would be willing to sacrifice a little bit of extra bag weight for that), and for the straps to perhaps be adjustable.
