My Grandsons loved them for Christmas
I am so happy. My 3 grandsons ages 10, 13, and 16 love their Kalimbas I got them for Christmas. It sounds beautiful and they play them daily so far. The only thing I wonder is should I have gotten one for them with more keys. One of my grandsons tries to play a song from his zelda game that he likes and he says he can't go high enough with the 17 keys. So if they are still interested after a while perhaps I will get a Kalimba with more keys for them to try. Anyway the kalimba is a lovely gift for old and young. Its especially nice to have an instrument that sounds nice and takes very little space to have. which is much needed in this case. Read more

It sounds beautiful!
This is such a cute instrument! It comes with adorable little colorful stickers to put on top of the things you pluck to add some color! But please let me ask this one question that torments my very soul every night as I try to get at least 6 hours of sleep. What is the little metal hammer for? I tried tapping it on the plucking things a couple times, then I tried tapping it on other parts of the instrument. Then I tried tapping myself on the head with it a couple times to try to knock what little sense into myself that it took to try to figure it out. Am I just not as musicly inclined as I thought? I always wanted to learn to play a musical instrument. Now I feel I can. It was so easy to tune! I watched some videos on YouTube about the Kalimba which really helped.
