Hoping to save some money I bought first one, then another, off-brand vests from Amazon and promptly sent both of them back for refunds. They were both size XL, which should have fit me but neither did. Both were bulky and stiff. Both had very heavy batteries. One had a zipper that caught the fabric and got stuck. So I went ahead and ordered an Ororo in size XL. It arrived yesterday. Fits perfectly, fabric is soft and flexible, good zipper, battery is about half the size and weight of the cheaper brands, and unexpectedly it came with a charger (so I can send back the one I bought extra, expecting there to be none.) And it looks nice on me too - not like the bulky other vests that made me look like The Hulk. I'm charging the battery now, but I have the vest on already and it's keeping me warm in my cold, wood-heated house. I'll be testing out the heated features this weekend at a barn hunt trial. From what I'm experiencing with it so far, I'll definitely be keeping this vest. Read more

I sit outside a lot in the winter to allow my dog to play with another dog. I am always layering on clothes and never warm. I got this vest and it is a game changer. It keeps my core so warm I sometimes have to turn it off. The rechargeable battery lasts a very long time. I've worn it for a couple hours, didn't recharge it, then wore it for a couple more hours and it never lost charge. It is kind of slow to charge, but as long as you charge it ahead of time, this isn't a problem. You can turn it on, off, and change the level of heat all with one button up toward the collar. This is great, as you don't have to unzip it or mess with the battery pack while you're wearing it. I'm 5'10" and 150 lbs and I got the medium. There is room underneath to wear a fat sweater, but I actually recommend wearing just a base layer under the vest because the closer it is to your body, the more warmth you feel. When I put a fat sweatshirt under it, I didn't feel the heat from the vest as much. Because of this, I think I could have ordered a size small. But if you have a larger chest, and are the same size as I am stick with the medium. It also has a bunch of pockets that zip closed! I can carry all my essentials such as my phone, chapstick, key, money, etc without carrying a bag. But if you put the vest under a coat or something, it's obviously harder to get into the pockets. 10/10 would buy again...in fact, I got this for my dog's friend's mom so we are both toasty during doggie playtime. I am happy with this vest. I purchased the vest after I had been looking at heated vests for a while now. The heated areas are great! I love the neck warming part. I just wish the battery lasted longer. I will have to buy more batteries to charge to have on hand. Read more
My third heat vest from this company. This one is a thinner one which is nice (although I will admit the thicker vest is warmer)…. I accidentally put one of the vest in the dryer so that’s why I had to get a new one. Made the mistake of going with “suggestions” of ordering a size up on the third vest (medium instead of small)…. Definitely it makes a difference to choose the proper size. The medium size is too loose on me and not near as warm because the vest is so loose against my body. The small size is perfect and the actual contact of material on body makes me toasty warm! I actually swear these vest almost all day long at work and at home. Not always with the heat turned on. But it makes me so much more comfy on chilly evenings when I hate to turn the house heat up! Love these so much! Read more
