Very Good - Warm Even Without Heater

As always with what I would call "enhanced" products, my process is to evaluate the product without the enhancement and then figure out if it works well with the enhancement. In this case, that is with a heating element in the pants. So, first question, how do they look. I liked them, and more importantly, my wife did. Think of ski pants as for the material outside so, good to go. Next, the feel. These have a nice, soft liner inside that my wife said feels great. They do not run large, so we ordered her size (she's petite) and they fit well. Not much room for layers except maybe tights or leggings, I would guess. So there's that. These fit my wife quite well as mentioned. I did not order a larger size or anything because I figured if they work as designed, then layers would be a bit of overkill. The waist was a bit larger for her, but again, I mentioned that she is petite and there are belt loops, so no problem. Finally for the nonenhanced portion, these pants are warm even without the heating elements. The liner and material all serve to make these pretty good for outdoor activities. Now, having looked at how the basic functions, the heating elements work very well. She has other Ororo clothing (jacket) and just like that one, this worked quite well. The heating elements are in the thigh and waist area, none in the lower legs. That makes sense and works to keep you warm all day on the low setting. Overall, these were fit for purpose, I can find no reason to complain about anything about them. 5 stars from us. Read more

Warm Heated Pants but Sizing Runs Very Small

What problem we were trying to solve We wanted heated pants that were comfortable for cold-weather work and winter outings, with a fit that matched normal women’s sizing. What actually happened when we used them The heating function works well and the fabric feels soft, but the sizing is way off. A size 10 fits more like a 14, which makes the pants baggy in the waist and hips and not flattering at all. The warmth is nice and the pockets are useful, but the fit issues take away from the overall experience. These could be great if the sizing were consistent with standard women’s clothing. As they are, you either size down or end up with a very loose fit. Pros • Good heating performance • Soft and comfortable fabric • Useful pockets • Easy USB setup Cons • Sizing runs very large • Fit is baggy and not flattering • Hard to choose the correct size Who this is perfect for Anyone who wants heated pants but is willing to size down significantly to get the right fit. Best for casual winter activities rather than fitted, stylish wear. Read more

Needed a different size that wasn't available

Size was too small and I knew that might be the case when I ordered, but it was all that was available so gave it a try. With the right size, I think these would be great. Read more

Way Too small!

I have an Ororo heated coat and love it. I need heated pants and ordered Ororo heated pants. The review said runs small and to order up a size. I wear size 6 jeans and ordered a size 8. I couldn't even get them pulled past my knees. I unfortunately had sent them back for a return. I am deterred. Read more

Very warm

My wife really likes these pants, which are nice and warm, even with the heat turned off. And when it is really cold, the heaters are an extra bonus. She also likes that this has two battery connectors and pockets, so she can use two batteries to keep warm all day long. Unfortunately for us, she is very petite (5'0"), so these were *very* long on her. She ended up cutting about 5 inches off the bottom of the legs and re-hemming them. Luckily, the heating elements are all in the thigh and waist areas of the pants, so that it was possible to shorten them. Read more

Decent Heated Snow Pants

Pros: -The heated element of the pants work well. Taking my kids out to play in the snow, I was able to stay nice and warm with the heat just on medium. It was in the 20s (F) and very minimal sun. -The pants are nice and water resistant. Even the outside felt dry when I was done wearing the pants. -The battery pack is easy to plug/unplug and turn on and off, even with other snow gear on. -The pants themselves are comfortable to wear. They feel well made and durable. Cons: -The sizing is definitely off. I am 5’6” 165lbs. I typically wear a size 8 tall in jeans. I ordered a size 10, hoping for some room for layering. The pants are tight. Not uncomfortably, I was still able to play with my kids without issues, but definitely tight. I was most comfortable wearing fleece leggings underneath them. -Due to the pants running small, the battery pack felt bulky in the pocket. -The pants also run a little short. I didn’t mind because the nicely tuck into my boots, but if you aren’t wearing proper boots, there will be a gap. Read more

Love the pants love the feel, but way to short...

Ok, I should have went with the 4 or 6 since yep old and 5'11 thinking this would be better to layer up and wear boots. But they run huge and short, I went with the 8 and nope no way to wrong everywhere... they are so short I don't even think my 5'5 Mom's ankles would be covered... I get these type of snow pants for heating my ass, and show shoe with my beautiful Saint Bernard, but nope would not prefer to freeze my ankles... These run very large and very short... for the company... add a few inches to the length... all people size 6 are not 5'4... Read more
