Indulge yourself--you won't be sorry
Throughout my life I had become more and more sensitive to allergens (dust mites, etc.), and despite several measures (shower/shampoo in the evening, fresh pillowcases every night, frequent laundering of sheets, etc.) every night's sleep brought a reaction and congestion. This ceased abruptly when I began sleeping on silk, about two weeks ago. Silk feels wonderful and seems to help with temperature control. I ordered 22-momme rather than 19-momme in the hope that it would be a little sturdier, especially with respect to washing and drying. As recommended, I will be careful anyway. I have not seen/touched silk sheets from any vendor other than Orose, so I can't make that comparison. However, I cannot imagine any other vendor surpassing them. There are no imperfections. There is no seam in either sheet (some less expensive sheets are composed of two pieces sewn together). The color is exactly as expected and beautiful. The measurements are correct. My bedroom now looks elegant. A minor complaint--the photograph shows a duvet, but that is not part of the set (fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two pillowcases).
