I bought them for my daughter who has diabetes. She says they fit very well and are comfortable for to walk in. This is important as she has a lot of issues with her feet. These booties are very comfortable. They slide a little on my foot because they’re wide & my foot is relatively narrow. BTW, there were some plastic form things deep inside them, which I didn’t realize, & at first I thought there was some weird inside flaps! So make sure to look for & remove those. I ordered up a size because I’ll want to wear these with thicker socks (my foot probably won’t slide as much then). I think my regular size would have been too small & going up a half size too large. There’s a Velcro closure on the ankle so getting into & out of the booties is easy — and I appreciate that there’s no ugly Velcro strap across the top. At the moment I’m not having foot issues but I started the year with mild plantar fasciitis so comfortable shoes are important to me. In my opinion these booties are ugly — but function over form. The tread looks like it would grip well but right now it’s not slippery outside so I can’t test them. I don’t think I’d be wearing these booties outside, although they are supposed to be leather & waterproof. The price point is high, although if they are leather & waterproof it’s not terrible. They also come with some orthotic insoles that I haven’t tried. Right now I’m enjoying these booties as slippers (the mornings have gotten chill) & around the house shoes. I do recommend them. I am such a fan of this company after trying their boots for the first time. When I tell you I never realized how uncomfortable my shoes have been on my feet my whole life... I was honestly shook. After having some serious health issues come to light this year and has left me to struggle with high blood pressure, swelling, low blood circulation and more..seeing these boots really intrigued me. Upon delivery and opening up the box, I immediately find 2 pairs of insoles and an interesting u shaped piece of plastic tha is made to go around your heel underneath the original soles of the boot to provide better support not only fryour feet but more importantly for arch support. I cannot believe I never knew what I've bee missing and how I just excepted shoes not fitting me well and honestly just cause me to ache and have Pain that I deemed as the norm absolutely blows my mind. I followed instructions bc my heel did indeed slip even though initially these were the most comfortable shoes I've ever had on my feet....until I had them on with better support. Mind officially blown!! I am going to take he suggestion of wearing my boots like this for one hour for 3 days and then according to the brand, I will feel amazing and adjusted to my new stance. I am very excited! As i have gotten older and had some problems with health issues just taking a toll on me after so long and simply bc i am getting up there in age, learning about anything that helps me feel better day to day is of the upmost importance to me. I am going to take this boots very seriously and cherish the ad well bc they could potentially hold serious value for me concerning my well being. They are so comfortable, they fit perfectly, Nd I can already see I am going. To be living in them during the winter, I. Fact I anticipate Having these boots for quite some time. I bought a half size bigger then I normally wear so that I could fit all the arch support in and the boots were too small. I love all the extra arch support that came with the boots. To the touch, they are soft and well padded. I think I would do better with going to a store to try them on in person. They look like great boots. If they fit, I think they'd have gotten a 5 🌟!
