This cast iron juicer is an absolute workhorse. It’s heavy, sturdy, and clearly built to last for years—maybe generations. The cast iron construction gives it great leverage, making it easy to extract every drop of juice from citrus fruits with minimal effort. It clamps securely and doesn’t wobble or flex while in use, which makes juicing feel smooth and controlled. Cleanup is simple, and it doesn’t feel flimsy like plastic juicers that crack or wear out over time. If you appreciate old-school tools that actually work, this juicer is a fantastic addition to the kitchen. Perfect for fresh lemon juice, limes, oranges, or even pomegranates. Simple, durable, and incredibly effective—exactly what a kitchen tool should be. Read more

We love it! I bought this for (mostly) my boyfriend and I. It’s not too heavy while still having some good weight to it. We pretty much juice everything now, especially oranges. Very easy to use and you get a great amount of juice. The stainless steel juicer is super easy to clean with not a lot of pieces having to be washed or put back together. Read more
I bought this OSTBA cast iron manual juicer about a month ago and have been using it regularly. Overall, I’m happy with it for what it’s designed for. Pros: Works wonderfully with citrus fruits (lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruits). It extracts a ton of juice quickly and efficiently—much more than electric or small handheld reamers. Very sturdy, commercial-grade feel with solid cast iron and stainless steel parts. It’s built to last. Easy to clean (the stainless steel basket rinses well, and the cast iron base wipes down easily). Cons: It’s quite heavy (the cast iron base is substantial), so you need good leverage to press effectively. If you’re shorter or don’t have much upper body strength, place it on a firm, lower table or counter that sits below your waist. Pressing from a high surface makes it much harder to get enough force. For non-citrus fruits (like pineapple, berries, or apples), it’s not ideal on its own. The pulp is too soft or fibrous, so you’ll need to wrap the fruit in cheesecloth first, then press. It works, but it’s an extra step and a bit messy. If you mainly juice citrus and don’t mind the weight, this is an excellent manual press—far better than the cheap plastic versions. I use it almost daily for fresh lemonade and orange juice, and it’s saved me from buying bottled juice. Recommended with the caveat that it’s best suited for citrus and requires a little technique for best results.. Read more
