These two lightweight outdoor solar lanterns are perfect for patio or front porch. They are waterproof, so rain or sprinklers aren't an issue. The flickering effect is functional and creates a nice soft light. No extra power needed, they are powered by the sun. The lanterns were easy to assemble and made of a good quality that should last. These work great! They sit in only partial sun, but still light up for 5/6 hours every night. The candle flicker effect is great! They're pretty hardy, one has fallen in the pool twice and is still working great. Read more

We really like these lanterns. They are solar powered and I like the amount of light they put out. My only complaint is the color, if I buy more it will be in black. These were supposed to be bronze but are more of a goldish green color. It wasn't worth the hassle to send back. The price was really good and they are larger than my other ones. These are great size! They look just like candles burning in the distance with a very long battery life. Christmas gift for my mom, and they added them to the already installed lanterns they had in their backyard. They do not come with hanging hooks or posts to put in the ground, but they do have the ring across the top you can hang. There have a been few high wind and rain storms come through, these held up very well and waterproof did not impact these. There is a very thick silicone/rubber on the bottom where the batteries are and they light up so far around 12-16 hours. Not incredibly bright, just accent lights, but very well made and these are not metal. Metal will cool the internal components in our Arizona sun, made out of ABS material and I chose the bronze effect color. Read more

I really love these lanterns and they withstand literally anything. I have had these on my front porch since the Fall. We've had two major snow storms where I live, crazy wind and below freezing temps. These things have been blown across the yard, covered in snow and they're still going STRONG.
