Black sleeveless excise style shirt

Dava H.February 12, 2026

This is a sleeveless shirt, is labeled 95 percent cotton with 5 percent spandex, and the liner as 90.7 % cotton with 9.3% spandex, that seems to be the case. The shirt has average sized shoulder width for a sleeveless shirt (about 2 inches wide at the shoulder seam.) I ordered an XL, that is the usual size for me. The shirt fits on me, but it is tighter similar to how exercise clothing usually fits, then the shirt is most like an exercise styled sleeveless shirt, so it seems to be a relatively correct fit. If you want something more loose fitting, then I’d recommend sizing up one or two sizes. I’m 5’4” about 240 lb. and 20 weeks pregnant. It has a shelf type bra with thin pads sown into the bra lining area. The bra does have elastic across the bottom but it is not stretched in, its just sown flat to be the same size as the bra fabric. The elastic is a soft type, similar to how bra straps usually are, I couldn’t/did not feel the elastic while I was wearing the top. This item seems to be listed as maternity, and the lower part of the shirt is a bit wider than the bra area. The bra area is tight on me in the actual bra area, but the outer shirt is not tight, (there were no lines from stretching at the center of the chest). It was a bit difficult to get the top on in the bust area, the average person could manage it. After I had the shirt on a while, the size didn’t bother me. I wear a 40DDD. As far as the fit goes, the shirt makes my belly look more rounded or larger since it is a tighter shirt. The shirt has slight shaping, so things like a popped out belly button are less visible. I like that the shirt accentuates my curves so people know I am pregnant. The length of the shirt is shorter, than the other maternity clothes I have gotten recently. About 6 inches shorter than another sleeveless shirt, that I also got to tryout and review. The shirt mostly covers my belly but it does ride up a bit and when it does, the very bottom baby curve skin is somewhat visible. So this one will work best with maternity type pants. I ordered XL size (a normal size for me) and this size works well for now, I am about 20 weeks along. The fabric is stretchy (about 50%) width wise and 25 % vertically, so I expect the belly area will barely fit (it if it does) during the last 4-6 weeks of pregnancy. Since the cut of the shirt is sleeveless, and there is snow on the ground at the moment, I am wearing it with an open front sweater, and it looks cute. Thanks Read more

Comfortable and Practical Maternity Tank

KatyMarch 16, 2026

This is a really comfortable maternity tank and a great basic to have during pregnancy. The cotton material is soft and breathable, and the ribbed knit gives it a nice amount of stretch without losing its shape. The color is a true black. The built-in bra is a great feature and provides light support, which makes it easy to throw on without needing extra layers. The fit is flattering and has plenty of room for a growing bump while still looking neat and put together. It works well on its own or layered under sweaters and cardigans, and the sleeveless style makes it perfect for warmer weather. Overall, a comfortable, practical maternity top that’s easy to wear and great for everyday outfits. Read more

Comfy for being all cotton!

DeeMarch 5, 2026

LOVE this being 95% cotton as I’m eliminating plastics from my wardrobe! It’s actually so high stretch / comfortable in terms of being majority cotton and isn’t scratchy or rough AND I’m glad it’s not a ruched side along the belly area for stretch, because it looks just like a regular tank top and not like a maternity outfit. My mother in law saw me wearing it and asked where I got it to buy one until I told her it was a maternity hahah anyways paired it with this cute skirt from another set I already had and was comfy all day! My new favorite tank top!

Well Researched ConsumerFebruary 14, 2026

This tank top by OUGES is going to be my go-to from now on. It’s AWESOME. I don’t usually wear tanks because I don’t like my bra to show, and strapless bras can leave unattractive lines across the top. This tank has cups built in, and they’re supportive for my medium bust. I ordered a 2X, my usually preferred size. The tank fits in a more tailored way, but it’s got great stretch, and it covers my waist and hips without rolling or pulling up during activity. It’s also long enough to tuck into my pants. The collar rests high, well above showing cleavage. THANK YOU FOR THIS. The sides and arm holes have skin coverage. The edging is finished, so you could wear this tank appropriately under a blazer or sweater to work or a function. It’s modest and classy. The material is very soft and incredibly comfortable. I ordered the black. It’s a dark, solid, jet black. I do wish it also came in other colors, such as khaki, brown, cream, buff, and red. I have a number of OUGES brand clothes, and they continue to impress me with their quality, comfort, and fit. Read more

Felt like good quality but too thick to be useful in the summer

SabrinaFebruary 16, 2026

I really wanted to love this tank because the material genuinely feels high quality. It’s thick, substantial, and not at all flimsy - to me, this felt well-made and not see-through. That said, I’m just not sure when I would realistically wear it. For summer, when I typically reach for tanks because it’s hot and I want something lightweight and breathable, this fabric feels a bit too heavy. It doesn’t have that airy, cool feel I look for in warm weather, so I worry it would end up feeling uncomfortable or overly warm, especially later in pregnancy. The built-in bra was unfortunately the biggest issue for me. I really didn't like the proprtions of this. It sat in a strange place and didn’t align well with my shape and was not flattering at all. It also just wasn’t comfortable. The band felt restrictive, and the overall fit made me constantly aware I was wearing it, which is the opposite of what I want in maternity clothing. Read more
