This Diyal outdoor light set is absolutely perfect for our new house build. We bought black with the gold interior. The quality of these lights is phenomenal. They feel and look well made of a good quality metal, they are not flimsy at all. They came well packaged ( we bought a set of four) and they are all in perfect condition. Not one scratch or dent! These lights were easy for my husband to install. The shape gives off great lighting and a very nice farmhouse look. I chose these lights because of the reviews, functionality, quality and beauty. I also chose this design because we live in Texas and every flying wasp type insect will make a nest ( birds as well) in anything they can get inside of! Bought this for our daughter who needed a new back porch light. She loves it and so do we! The inside is white which we preferred. It also takes up to a 100W bulb, and we used an LED. It works perfectly and turns on at dusk and off at dawn. It is really nice and bright! One of the ratings was for motion detection, but this model didn't come with motion detection (only the auto on/auto off feature) as far as we know. Great look, easy install, great price, and so far it has held up very well. Also, due to the way it is designed, birds can't build a nest on top of it, which in our area is a big win. We’ve been slowly updating our 1970s home and bringing it into this decade, and after our previous exterior light finally gave out, we picked up this one as a replacement. It’s been a great addition. The brightness is impressive, it casts a wide, even light and noticeably improves visibility around our entry area. If you prefer a well-lit exterior rather than a soft glow, this definitely delivers. The dusk-to-dawn feature has also been convenient. It turns on and off reliably without us having to think about it, which is one less thing to manage. Installation was straightforward as a standard wall mount replacement. Style-wise, it gives a clean farmhouse look without feeling overly trendy. It modernized the space without clashing with the character of our older home. The media could not be loaded. Overall good value for the money. It looks great and has the farmhouse vibe. The white paint inside does bring out the light and accentuates light output even more which is a plus. Overall install is very straightforward and easy. Although if you’re going to mount it to a light fixture box like I did you’re going to need to get an additional Light Fixture Bracket which will not come with the light itself. The wall mounting bracket for this thing is just weird. Never seen anything like it. It took me a while to figure out how it works. The instructions are useless. Once you figure it out it is fairly easy to do.. It has a thin piece of metal that holds two pre attached captive screws that go into the cover of the box. I had to bend that bar back into the electrical box to get the cover to sit flush against the wall or else it stuck out too far. The mounting system works and is ok considering the price but could be much better. I like the antique bronze finish. It looks great against my tan vinyl siding. The interior of the shade is gold color and cast a nice warm light with the LED color changing bulb I used. I would recommend The Mujoy Led bulbs since you can create just the right color and golden glow with this light. Very pleased. Read more

I looked at all of these lights on Amazon. I decided to spend a couple extra bucks to get a good quality one. It was worth it. I've bought three now. No problems with installation or functionality. Highly recommended. Be sure not to lose the little rubber washers for the exterior nuts. Read more
