Bought this jacket for a several day hiking trip and it didn’t disappoint. The light weight, size small is a perfect fit for my 5’2”, 130 lb. frame. I was able to layer with a tee-shirt and a long sleeve underneath. When I got too warm, it easily packed in my backpack and wasn’t wrinkled when I took it out. More importantly it worked great in wind and rain. The hood is adjustable and isn’t too oversized. I used the hood a lot. The jacket also kept me completely dry during a steady rain for 30+ minutes. Temps were between 35 and 55 F, and this jacket (with layers underneath) was perfect for keeping the wind and cold out while hiking. Style wise, the jacket is basic, not fussy, with two outside zipper pockets and an inside zip pocket. Overall, very pleased with this purchase. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This jacket came all over Europe with me on our honeymoon! It held up great and packed up small. I love the color. It is wind resistant and waterproof. Great rain jacket for traveling as it rolls in into a small ball and has a cinch travel bag. Pockets are roomy and zippers are strong. Read more

This is a beautiful, quality jacket, with an insufficient packable bag. The jacket is very comfortable with a large hood that will keep rain off of your face. Its material is a quality, smooth fabric; not a plastic bag feel at all. The mesh lining keeps you comfortable and unlike my Columbia rain jacket that is not lined, it does not stick to my arms, when wet. I will enjoy this on my trip to Switzerland and it will be my go-to rain jacket when I return. The size chart indicated that I needed a medium, but I got a large, for more room across my chest. The sleeves are a bit long, but I love the overall fit. I'm 5'3" and weight 140. Love the look and fit of this jacket; hate the tiny, useless bag. It would be nice to increase the size of the bag for those who are traveling and required to use small suitcases. You can only get the jacket half way in the pouch no matter how tight you fold it. Measurements with jacket halfway in pouch is 12" long, 16 " in circumference! Jacket gets 5 stars; the bag 0. Read more

Pros: Love the vibrant color. It's very well-made, not cheap and flimsy like so many products bought online. Several pockets for keys, phone, hands, etc. Mesh inside to help with airflow. Hood is deep to keep hair and face dry. Love that it rolls up into a small pouch for packing. Price was great for such a well-made jacket. Cons: I would like it to be longer in the back to keep my rear end dry should I need to sit somewhere that's wet. I bought it for a cruise and it's very likely I'll end up having to sit somewhere that's wet from rain. I wish the cuffs on the sleeves were elastic rather than velcro. I'm not a fan of velcro because it sticks to certain kinds of fabric and leaves pills, plus it's just not as comfortable a fit when velcro is used instead of elastic. All in all, the pros well outweigh the cons, so for the price, I'll likely keep it and use it. Even if I end up purchasing another one that's longer in the back, this one will be great to wear. This is the perfect jacket! The fit is true to size, the construction is excellent and the pockets are well placed and good sized. It’s just the right weight for our sometimes damp, sometimes windy weather and will serve me well from fall through spring. It has immediately become my favorite jacket. Read more

Yes it fits in bag. 1. Zip it. 2. Lay flat. 3. Fold sleeve at elbow over to opposite shoulder seam. 4 repeat for other sleeve. 5. Flatten hood on top of sleeves. Note - measure- edge to edge should be length of stuff sack. If not , fold in further. 6. You should now have a long Narrow rectangle. If not, fold sides in even farther. 7.Tightly roll. 8.. Measure again with bag. If they match - put it in. If you do it two or three times you’ll have it down quick and easy. ——- Since this folds up into a small bag, I was worried that it would be cheap, easily torn material. It’s not. It’s a good weight (but not heavy )on the outside with a mesh lining on the inside. Some of the cheaper raincoats will cling to you like glue when it gets wet. This won’t. Love the very deep dark red/maroon color. I normally wear an XL but followed the advice of Amazon and got the next size up. Glad I did. I have long arms, but I’m happy to say the sleeves go beyond my wrist. Wish the Velcro sleeves could tighten a little farther, The hood adjust real well and I will be able to wear a hat underneath. Bb. Feels like it will also be a decent windbreaker. Even though the armpits unzip, I think this rain jacket would be too hot for a summer Florida trip. But will be big enough to have a fleece sweater underneath for a Fall Alaska trip. I would recommend this raincoat and I would buy it again. Read more
