I bought this oval lift-top coffee table for my living room, and it’s honestly one of my favorite furniture pieces now. (Original, update after) "I bought this table because I needed something small for my apartment living room. The materials were decent enough quality and assembly was relatively easy. However, as I progressed further through assembly, some of the parts did not look right but I continued following the instructions, as I installed the adjustable table top and attempted to close it I saw that it does not fully close flush with the other half of the table top. I looked back through the booklet to see if I had installed anything incorrectly and I had not. I even watched the instructional assembly video that was attached to this product's sales page, and noticed some inconsistencies. All of the problems seem to stem from the placement of the two smaller support beams that hold the levers for the adjustable table top, as well as the main center support beam. (Parts labeled 10, 9, and H in the assembly video, and parts 10, 9, and 7 in the booklet) In the diagram and assembly video, parts 10 and 9 appear to attach to part H/7 more in the middle which allows for the tabletop to fully close. Yet in the actual assembly I received, parts 10 and 9 attach much higher which does not leave any room for the table top to close as demonstrated in the video I have attached. Currently in contact with the company requesting a refund. Not looking forward to the amount of disassembly I will potentially have to do in order to return this product either. Maybe I got a bad product but at the current moment I would not recommend. Will update once a response from the company is heard." UPDATE PART: Within an extremely short amount of time a representative reached out to me from the company and did not stop messaging me until my issue was resolved. Apparently there is a labeling issue where parts number 10 and 9 had labels that were swapped at production which caused confusion; when I disassembled everything and reassembled it per the instructions of the representative, the design was more what I expected. Genuinely being honest when I say this is hands-down the best customer service I have ever seen on this app, it was a relatively simple mistake and this company did not hesitate to make it right. This is not as I expected. Although I had a really great time TRYING to put it together properly with my cousin, it was never going to happen. The manufacturer did not have the proper holes pre-drilled into the wood, therefore as it was when we put it together it put the desk portion of this which is half of the table, off by about 2 inches and makes it over lap on the wood top of the other side of the coffee table. Color doesn’t match photo. I know colors can vary due to phone screens vs camera etc. however this is quite a bit different. Took a while to put together which isn’t a big deal but was a lot. Also requires 2 ppl at the very end of “construction” which I wasn’t anticipating. Maybe the instructions said it somewhere but the first time I saw that it required a second person was in the last step on instructions. Again, not the end of the world, but I live alone so had I been alone I would have been super frustrated. It also came covered in some sort of dust. Nothing like being covered in an unknown dust. Came with everything it needed except a screwdriver. Even had wax for the sliding sections which I appreciated. I did notice that little pieces chipped off around the screws while I was screwing them in. Not sure this will cause any issues. As for the lifting section, I’m unsure of the quality so far. The hinges? (Mechanisms for lifting and putting down) seem like decent quality so far. I have noticed that it doesn’t always settle into place as exactly as I’d like. Not a big deal for now, but I can see it causing damage from rubbing over time. Overall, it is what I paid for. It’s not a $500 coffee table, so I’m okay with what it is for now but can see myself replacing it for a higher quality piece in a couple years. Great Table! I assembled it alone, but you need a lot of patience and time. I made a mistake with the lift top so I had someone help me. I would recommend having someone help you. I love this table. Although I wish the "drawers" were not cheaply made. Other than that it is sturdy, big and aesthetically pleasing! Read more

I love this table. My husband was able to put it together by himself and the instructions were easy to follow. It was a get value for the money and it provides an update to my home. It looks modern and I love the oak color. I do believe it will last as the materials are not cheap looking or dull. Please read the measurements as it might be small for some rooms. Read more
