I have been wearing weighted vests for four months walking nearly every day for an hour wearing one and this is my favorite of all I've tried! You need to unbuckle the buckle in the front or it is a beast to get on. It fits much more comfortably than the type that you put on like a vest. (But the vest ones are easier to put on). It is very comfortable. And I love how there is room to grow as you get stronger. This is such a gift if you are concerned about your bone density and looking to add weight bearing activity into your life. It appears to be very well made and I expect it will last a long time. The weight distribution is excellent. I am wearing it with 16 lbs in it right now and love that it can go to double that weight. It does not press down on my hips but sits higher. This feels so much better for my hip joints than vests that hand lower. The vest is easily adjustable. As a woman it is comfortable to wear. I am really thankful I purchased this vest. I just wore this on an hour walk and found it really weighed heavy on my shoulders. With another vest I am able to carry 21 lbs and it doesn't bother me at all. With this one I had to keep removing bricks until it was down to 8 lbs and it was still heavy on the top of my trapezius. I realize now a longer vest distributes the weight more on your torso and hip. So if you don't mind carrying less weight this is a great vest but if you're purchasing it hoping to increase your weight just know your traps will be bearing most of it. Read more

It’s exactly what it is supposed to be. Easy to use and fits well. I have found though that it’s better for some exercises but not so much for walking or running. Your shoulders take the brunt of the weight and can become fatigued very quickly. I mainly use it for squats and pull up’s. Read more

This is a nice vest. I have a couple of other vests that tend to just really rub the straps. They're just actual straps instead of an actual vest. This is a nice thick vest strap around your shoulders and allows you to customize the weight from zero to 30 pounds. Read more

Man, this thing is heavy! It is very well made and built to last. Its comfortable and adjustable. Very easy to use. You can take some weights out or add some in for a custom experience. My teenager likes to wear this while he's working out for extra workout value. This is a really great weighted vest and I'm glad I got this for him. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I am 5'10" and roughly 170 lbs. The vest fits me very comfortably, but doesn't really stay in place when doing fast movements like jumping jacks or running. It's great for push-ups or other slow moving exercises where you just want to add body weight resistance. There are 16 individual bars, allowing for great flexibility in weight.
