I bought this torch lighter thinking it would be the ultimate cigar companion. On paper (or on the Amazon listing), this thing is basically the Swiss Army knife of cigar gadgets. First off, the style is fantastic. It looks cool sitting on the table like some kind of tactical survival tool. The clear plastic fuel window is great because I can actually see when I’m about to run out of butane instead of playing the classic “why won’t you light now?” guessing game. Then there are the features. Oh man, the features. • Built-in cigar stand on the lid – brilliant. Perfect for setting your cigar down without it rolling off the table like it’s trying to escape. • Built-in cigar punch – also awesome. One less tool to carry around. • Price – honestly, very reasonable for all the gadgets packed into this thing. At this point you’re probably thinking: “Wow, this lighter must be amazing.” And it would be… if the part where it actually lights cigars worked. I use ultra-refined butane, and I purge the lighter every time I refill it like some kind of NASA technician preparing a rocket launch. Despite this careful ritual, the jets clog faster than civilization during a zombie apocalypse. When it does light, the flame appears briefly like a flickering campfire in a horror movie… then pfft… gone. Or it flutters every quarter second like it’s trying to send Morse code to the undead. If the zombie apocalypse happens and the zombies start smoking cigars, this lighter will be perfect. They’ll have plenty of time to fiddle with it while slowly shuffling around waiting for a flame.
