It’s hard to beat the quality of Pacsafe. Have used this bag on several flights. It’s built to last. I have put it under the seat in front of me. It will stick out a couple of inches but it’s doable. Pacsafe’s security is also top notch. The zipper locks and slide lock work well and provide security even without an another lock. The bag itself is a bit heavy but that is because of the anti theft materials. I like the RFD pocket that’s easy access for my passport and wallet. Have been using this for over 6 months, I travel alot to different countries, knowing the zipper tabs lock and you can lock the strap to your chair when you sit down when dining, it's a huge plus, I use this mating for conventions, you can put ipad or small yoga computer, power supply, coupler, pens, tweaker, a couple of cables, c-wrench, screw drivers, there is 2 zipper pockets inside the bag for adapters, or maybe a pack of mints so when your trouble shoot a breakout room. When doing A/V you want to fix the problem quick and not have to go to the boneyard, this PS is perfect and frekin looks and feels comfortable. Read more

Not 100% foolproof, but designed to slow down thieves enough to make them seriously rethink their choice in victims. Material is pretty much cut proof, especially the shoulder straps. Locks can be very tricky to work if you don’t know how they function, which is exactly what slows the thief down and forces them to be exposed longer. All these security features do add a little weight, but nothing too significant. Perfect size to put my travel camera gear box into as carry on and still leaves me room for other carryon necessities. I bought this backpack to travel to Ecuador with, where I heard theft and pickpocketing abound. Review: The Pacsafe EXP45 Travel Pack impressed me with its overall quality and durability. The suitcase-style main compartment has loads of room and easily fit an entire week’s worth of clothes for our trip to Germany (packed military-style, rolled tight like basic training ruck sacks). It worked perfectly as a carry-on and kept everything organized. The only drawback is the outside laptop pocket—it doesn’t expand much, making it a tight fit for larger laptops. I did not regret spending the money on this backpack. I used it for a 10 day trip to Greece, and was able to pack all that I needed. It was comfortable to carry, and I had no issues from my airline using it as a carryon. The antitheft features are effective, and I did not find them cumbersome when I needed to access things.
