We had this coffee table for a few months until I noticed that it was leaving behind little piles of sawdust on our carpet underneath a portion of it. I did some research and it appears like powderpost beetles have laid eggs in a portion of the wood used to construct it, and as they hatch they are eating their way out of the wood and leaving the piles of sawdust. As it's been a few months since this was ordered and these hatched, I was not offered a refund or the option to return. I removed it from our house as soon as I noticed it so that the bugs or termites do not infest our walls or other wooden objects. Beware ordering this! The eggs can lay dormant in wood for ~5 years so you never know when this will infest your home! Update- I worked with the seller directly on this issue and they were kindly generous enough to offer a full refund and informed me that they let their warehouse and designer know to prevent this from happening to anyone else. Their response was prompt and extremely polite and helpful. Very good product, unfortunately we had this issue but they did everything in their power to make up for it! Read more
