For almost 35 years I have had a beloved, red plaid flannel Victoria Secret robe. I can't believe it has lasted as long as it has. I have sewn dozens of times over the years, and I've even sewn patches over holes that weren't on the seams because it's THAT comfortable and I couldn't bear to part with it! I did everything and anything to keep that old robe going!. But it finally split right down the back when I sat to put on my makeup one recent morning. It was time. I was doubtful I'd find anything even close to replace it. After visiting local specialty stores and department stores, I turned to Amazon and eventually landed on this PajamaGram robe. It seemed to fit the bill in all ways, and I decided to stick with the red theme in honor of my long-lived old friend, "Roby" (my husband's humor at work there). I received it today, washed it up per the instructions, and I'm wearing it now. It is SO lovely and I'm THRILLED with it. It's soft, the perfect weight, and the exact length I wanted, which is mid-calf (I like the backs of my legs to be covered when I'm putting my make-up on in the morning). I was replacing a 20 year old LL Bean flannel robe. I read all the reviews and was hoping that the robe would be roomy and not huge, soft, and long enough after washing. I have been delighted. I washed and dried the robe immediately, and it did not shrink at all. The fabric is not heavy, but is very soft. The fit is loose, certainly not sexy, but comfy, and great over pajamas, or even as an extra layer over clothes while watching TV on the couch. I love this robe! Lightweight, which is perfect for me. Soft, and fits nicely. It has the tie on the inside, as well, so you stay secure. I would not say that this robe runs big. It is just somewhat oversized. But to me you need that with a robe so it will fit over PJs. I expect robes to be bigger in that way. I ordered my normal size and I thought it was perfect. Roomy enough to be comfy, but still fit in the right places (sleeves weren't too long, etc.) I find people often confuse things that are intentionally oversized with things that run big. This is the former. BUT, all things considered, there would probably be no harm in sizing down if you wanted a snugger fit, but at that point you run the risk of the sleeves getting too short, shoulders getting too narrow, etc. Read more

I’d been looking for a flannel robe & glad to have found this one. Washed & dried it before wearing & put it on first thing this morning… it’s soft, very comfortable and seems well made. Was looking for flannel because I didn’t want polyester, poofy plush or a heavy material, & often throw on an old favorite x-large flannel shirt for comfort that’s been washed a million times. I’m a size 10/12, 5’ tall & this med/large robe hits perfectly at lower calf, above ankles in length. The sleeves are too long but easily rolled up one time to perfect length. It’s 100% cotton, not flimsy at all & love the big pockets! I would definitely purchase cozy flannel robe again, it’s very comfortable to lounge around in. Read more
