This eyeliner is super pigmented, the black goes on dark and doesn’t need multiple passes to look intense. The felt tip makes it easy to get a clean line, even if you’re not a pro at winged liner. I like the easy-grip wand, it feels steady in my hand, which makes application less stressful. It dries quickly and doesn’t smear through the day, even in a little humidity. I am always hunting for the perfect eyeliner. To me the important criteria are availability of good basic colors (do people really need teal or silver or lavender eyeliner? I don't), ease of application, and long wear. Palladio scores well in all three areas. First, the colors: They have black, black/brown, and navy, as well as a few more shimmery shades that I don't use. I currently have the black and black brown shades, and have had the navy in the past. They are exactly the rich colors you expect them to be. Second, I love the ease of application. It's eyeliner liquid with a felt tip applicator. To me, that's the ideal form eyeliner should take. I find that eyeliner pencil doesn't glide on smoothly or intensely enough, brush applicators are hard to use for even application, and eyeliner markers tend to start out wet and then get dryer as you apply it. Ugh! But Palladio, that I've been using for ages, applies smoothly each time and stays smooth in the bottle for a long, long time. The felt tip is just the right thickness so that you can control the line, from fine to wide depending on how you use it. The top of the bottle is thin, which I find easiest to manipulate. And finally, this stuff lasts all day once applied and dry. Although it is not waterproof, it is smudge-proof and I have never had it melt or bleed. Granted, I have dry skin, so I don't know if having oily eyelids would make it smudge or not. But for me, it lasts perfectly, yet is easy to remove with eye makeup remover, either the oily or non-oily kind. All in all, Palladio is the perfect eyeliner for me, and I recommend it highly. I like the color, and it goes on decently. Both the handle and the applicator tip are smaller than my previous brand (which got discontinued), and I def like the longer better. The longer handle makes the product easier to use - so this one is taking some getting used to. The longer applicator tip also makes the product easier and more complete to apply - so, again, this one is a little more challenging. I haven't quite worked out my flow with it. I tend to be unsatisfied with how I'm using it as I apply to the inside of my upper eyelid (toward my nose), so that part regularly gets a "do-over." I think if the applicator tip were a bit longer, I would do better there. Overall, I like it enough and will likely purchase again. Not many companies produce the blue and I really like the blue. Since I found out about this product i have continued to use it it goes on smooth its long lasting wear. Because of the brush tip it looks like i have a straight line everytime. Im hypoallergenic and it doesn't affect my skin whatsoever. I love this eyeliner the shimmer black is very cute too it may look like a small bottle but it will last you over a month and thats using it daily. This is one makeup must have. Read more
Beautiful pigment. Not smudge or waterproof at all. I got the green and the “bronze”. The green is gorgeous, and color is as expected. The “bronze” is more of a sparkly dark brown. It was pretty but not the color I expected. Read more
