I bought this for use in pregnancy to try and prevent stretch marks and improve skin elasticity. I used this oil after every daily shower on my belly, butt, and thighs through my whole pregnancy. I also bought the lotion but I gravitated more towards the oil because it was just so much easier to apply. A little goes a long way, it smells nice, makes skin feel so soft, is easy to apply quickly, doesn't make you feel sticky after, and the price is pretty good. The results? I didn't have stretch marks until the last week of my pregnancy (38 weeks) with consistent use. During postpartum period, I didn't really see any exciting results from this on my stretch marks. I'm now 9 months postpartum and I still have some obvious red marks. In summation, if you're looking for a miracle, you're not going to find it. The research shows that there just isn't an effective method of prevention or treatment of stretch marks (especially in pregnancy). But if you want to try to do anything you can anyway, this stuff is actually pretty great and I would recommend it! Just try not to be discouraged if you get some new little marks regardless.
