The item that I received was physically in what I would call "fair" external condition. It was not shipped in an original Panasonic box with original packing, and was scratched and very dusty, including the interior disc tray. There was no owner's/instruction manual and the power cord was only 18" long (obviously NOT the original). The only control buttons that seemed to work were the "Power" button and the disc tray open/close button. I could not load more than three discs without the tray pushing them out of their positions and on top of one another. Needless to say, I could not play any of the discs. The one positive comment I can make is that Amazon was very good about providing a pre-paid return shipping label and crediting my account. Read more
