My reasons for buying this specific razor: - I wanted a travel razor. This razor's size makes it ideal. Since its an electric, no need to pack my full shaving supplies (shave soap, brush, alum, styptic pencil.) - That this razor charges with USB-C was a contributing factor. I can charge it with something I'm already packing. I'm also trying to avoid proprietary chargers in my life. - Panasonic is a brand I know and trust. I expect it will be around when it comes time to replace the foil. I've used electrics in the past (mostly rotary) but for the last 10+ years, I've been a wet shaver. I enjoy the routine of it and get a better shave. For travel, I keep looking for ways to lighten my load. I have travel sizes for all my shaving stuff but its still a lot.
