I LOVE this bar. I use it as an all over cleanser. It has definitely lessened my breakouts from inflammatory acne on my face, and keeps my skin smooth and not dry. I used Dove for years, but this PanOxyl bar, is my only go to cleanser now. I shower 1-2 times each day, and a bar lasts me approximately 1 1/2 weeks - 2 weeks. Yes, I wish these bars cost less, but I will continue buying them anyway. They are worth the extra costs to me. My only dilemma now is, what to do with the several bars of Dove I have in my bathroom cabinet. Read more

No noticeable scent, free of residue, and a good lather for a benzoyl peroxide soap bar. I prefer this over the liquid Panoxyl for all the following reasons: easier to use, lathers and foams up better, product lasts longer, and the bar doesn’t hold water and leak like the liquid dispenser does. My skin feels cleaner and less oily after use. I tend to get hormonal acne on my jawline- and this product has helped control the breakouts by keeping my skin cleaner. I started using the PanOxyl bar soap when bathing, and I am very impressed with the results. Oh it definitely helps w the breakouts, as soon as I feel a pimple forming up, the pain subside the next day. I used it 2times a day, and eventually it started drying my face too much, granted it's because I don't have a face care routine. I was just too preoccupied with getting rid of my acnes that were hurting my face so bad. From now on I will do once a day. It definitely takes care of the acnes, it lathers nicely, I leave it between 2 to 5mns, then I follow w a Cetaphil moisturizer. I am still figuring out a face care routine. Read more

It's a good product. It helped me a lot to control my acne and it lasts quite a while. I've used the cream soap, and this bar soap is much better. You have to be careful with clothes and towels because it stains them like bleach. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. Read more

This PanOxyl 10 percent bar has become a staple in our house. It is my go to soap for keeping my own skin bump free, especially on the chest and back, and it has also helped with body odor for my pre teen daughter. I do not use traditional deodorants and rely more on actives for odor control, and this fits right into that routine. I do not have severe acne, so I do not use it every day on my body, but working it in one to two times a week keeps my skin looking smoother and clearer. On other days, I will use it briefly on underarms as an “odor control” wash and it has worked well for us. Since it is a maximum strength 10 percent benzoyl peroxide bar, I am mindful not to overdo it and I always rinse thoroughly. It can also bleach fabrics, so I just use older towels. I have used this product for years and it works amazingly for me! I've suffered with hormonal acne since my teens and this combined with a change in my diet has made a HUGE difference. The key is to let lather into your skin and LET IT SIT for about 2-3 minutes. Sometimes I leave it on for 30 min as a mask to get a deeper clean. Make sure it's not too harsh for your skin.
