Almost perfect until it wasn’t. Couldn’t decide how many stars to give either, since I needed a replacement set. I read a whole bunch of reviews about hand weight for women with small arthritic hands. These seemed like a good option. I ordered both the 3lb and 5lb. They arrived just this week. Today (1-17-26) I started to pick up one of the 5lb weights where the weight meets the handle and cut my hand. There is a piece of metal sticking out. Think like the end of a staple, but much harder, no bend. Well, that is a bummer. I’ve contacted Amazon for a replacement. I think it’s worth the second try: The bar fits my hand. The 3lb is comfortable. I don’t feel stress on my thumb joint and my wrist. I do feel stress with the 5lb but that’s why I want them— to continue to build strength. As I get stronger, I’m hoping the think and wrist don’t feel the stress. I’ll probably purchase wrist wraps anyway. Read more
