I'm updating my review and giving these 5 stars now. I didn't wear them much when I bought them as the weather was getting warm. But now I wear them every day, often most of the day. My little house is cold in the winter, especially the floors. I have to go out several times every day for chores (feeding birds, bringing in wood, etc.), but I'm usually wearing my so comfy and warm slippers, unless there's a pile up of snow or it's raining hard. Of course the sheepskin fleece for the insole has gotten matted down, but it still adds a lot of warmth and provides cushioning. After wearing them most of the time for the past 3 months, the sole shows no real sign of wear. (I'm not lazy, just getting old and somewhat disabled, and I am in to comfort and practicality.) (1st review) These slippers were a good buy for the price. I have 2 old pairs of similar slippers by Ugg and Acorn. Those do both have a padded insole, which these lack. But my new ones are still plenty comfortable (I don't plan on standing in them for a long time). And they are very soft and warm. They seem to be well made, so I hope they last. Our winters are cold here, so slippers like these are very practical. I often have to step out in a bit of snow, the soles seem to have decent tread. Mine are a lovely grey, which won't show dirt. So you can splurge and spend a lot more, but if you're on a budget, give these a try. Read more

Parfeying Women's Sheepskin House Slippers: The leather suede outside is nice, while the lush, authentic sheep's wool (shearling) interior gives immediate warmth. They're wonderfully plush and ample room for thick socks in cold weather! Alas, the downside and reason why I returned them ... the rubber sole is not flexible enough for my liking, the soles are noticeably harder than my BearPaws and just don't have the give and cushion I expected. I paid $43.xx + tax. Within 24 hours I saw the same pair, being sold by the same company on Amazon for $35.xx. I've returned them and won't be back. Read more

These slippers are SO comfortable! And nice looking and WARM. And they fit great!! I have very wide feet and usually wear an 8.5 WW. The size 8 in these slippers fits great. What I honestly like most is that they don’t have a tag where your heel sits. I have another pair of slippers that has a scratchy tag right under your heel (and UGGs also have this). It’s so annoying and not comfortable. These slippers just have beautiful, comfortable shearling where your foot sits. Love them!!! Read more

Absolutely stunning 20 out of 10 slippers for an Amazon purchase. These slippers are insanely high-quality so fluffy absolutely gorgeous. The suede is really truly good quality they fit extremely comfortably. They are absolutely lovely!!!!! The only word of caution I would give is if you are in between sizes you definitely want to size up because these are as true to size as they could possibly be and slightly snug so definitely size up they are also platform so keep that in mind if you want 2 inch platforms or not Read more

The lining fabric was as described very fluffy and soft. Outside leather was pretty. Sole was comfortable and not too heavy but after 2-3 days the sides started stretching out and I don’t have a wide foot. Guess I’ll be going back to the Vermont Store and purchase what looks to be the same style, pricey but high quality. Read more
