Sharpness+smoothness+price=wonderful!
The combination of sharpness and smoothness along with the low price makes this one of the very best blades available. I have very thick wiry hair and shave every 4-5 days. This blade works wonderfully for me and I actually can get 4 shaves when I usually toss out a blade after 3. With the way I shave one blade last me 2 weeks. This blade also works in every razor I have tried. There are really so many wonderful blades out there but when you consider the price this is definitely in the top 5 if not the top 3. Bonus.....no annoying glue! Read more

Best value de blades for coarse hair.
Excellent blades for coarse hair, at only .10 per blade you'd be hard pressed to find a better value. They are ranked #2 on the Gentleman's Gazette website which is what helped me decide on which de blades I should get. The #1 ranked blades were Feather @ .38 per blade for a 50 count. Buying 100 feather blades would cost you $38, which would get you almost 400 Parker blades. I paired them with WCS razor head by charcoal designs and have tried all 3 bases. They cut through over a week of coarse hair growth with ease when used with the Brawny aggressive razor head setup. The shave is also comfortable and doesn't irritate my skin. I will note, that when using the medium toothsome base that it will occasionally snag and drag on the skin in the Adam's apple area, but this is a razor head design issue, not an issue with the blades.
