These Patchology under-eye masks are such a staple for me! Both personally and in my makeup kit as they really do a great job at depuffing and hydrating. I love is popping them in the refrigerator before use. The cooling effect makes them feel so refreshing, especially in the mornings or before an event. Not only do they help with puffiness and hydration but they’re also great for catching any fallout while I’m working on clients! I don't know what was the problem with the last ones I received--whether they were out of date, or had not been stored properly--but the ones I just received are in a liquid solution like other brands I have used in the past. I just assumed these worked differently since I had never used this brand. They still seemed to have some tightening benefits, but my first order (all of them) were dry. Had I known they were not meant to be like that, I would have returned or at least checked expiration date, etc. The ones I just opened are in a pool of moisturizer, however, so hopefully they will work even better! I like the serum in these patches, I can see the difference under my eyes after I use them. My complaint about them is the patches are so heavy they slide down my face if I try to use them while getting ready in the morning. I can only use them if I am lying down, and who has time for that.
