Runs a little small. Love the fabric. Nice design. Solid construction. My four year old loves it. I’m happy to give this five stars. But a few observations. • Size: it runs a little small. This is why the 6 size fits my four year old. I would order a size up. • Color: the color is a nice, desaturated purple - almost a lavender. • Construction: seems high quality and well made to me. We’ve had no weird issues with quality. • Fabric: the fabric is lightweight, on the thin side, similar to moisture wicking material. It’s breathable and not too hot. My four year old wore for a whole day, running around, with no complaints. Wash: after washing a few times, I’ve not seen any shrinking. We washed on cold. Personally, I like the way this set looks, but my kids Do Not Like the fabric. It’s much much shiny and smooth in person than it looks in the listing pix, much more like thin bathing-suit type material than regular matte jersey knit. Because it’s a looser fit than most swimsuits, the slippery texture seems to give them the creeps. This might be fixable with a separate set of undergarments, but that somewhat defeats the principle of breathable activewear material. I think this is an idiosyncratic reaction and this (very cute) set would be fine for most kids, and I’m unwilling to significantly downgrade it just because mine complain it’s like wearing snakes. But I do wish the pictures had shown the fabric texture a bit more accurately. Read more

Ordered a size 5/6 for my daughter who is more in the 6 size than the 5. The top fit her perfectly it’s cute and modest. The skirt was a little on the loose side. She’s a more slender build but seemed to be ok after we rolled the waist band down once. The length goes down to her knees and has built in shorts. The bottoms didn’t have a tag on them to tell which way was the front or back. Can be a little confusing to a young child still learning about fashion. Read more

Super cute outfit for my tween. She even wore it to tennis tryouts and said it was comfortable when running or working out. The fabric is very soft and breathable. True to size. She’s unable to wear the top to school due to the dress code as the arm holes are a bit wide and makes her bra visible but the skirt is easily worn with other tees. Highly recommend this set.
