Great bag, built extremely well and had just enough space for my uses. It fit my 17-inch laptop despite not being advertised to be able to do so although the fit was somewhat tight, so that was a welcome surprise. Plenty of smaller zipper compartments inside the bag to organize and sort all sorts of things, more than enough for my use cases. Used this alongside the Peak Design travel duffel 50L and they both worked perfectly as plane carry-ons. Read more

I bought this backpack for a trip to Europe recently. I have a more "tactical" style Eberlestock pack that I use for hiking as well as travel and road trips, but I decided I needed something a bit better-suited to the confines of airports, planes, trains, and smaller vehicles. Since I knew I would be spending my time in cities and similar areas, I wanted to blend in a bit more. I've been a fan of Peak Design equipment like their travel tripod and camera clip. I wasn't disappointed here, either. The fit and finish of Peak Design gear is very high. The stitching is precise and each piece is nicely finished. The layout is similarly well-thought out. The main zipper is well-concealed against the user's body, which is nice for theft protection. The straps are comfortable and tuck away easily, which is great for stowing under an airplane seat. The fabric and zippers appear to resist rain well. I didn't have a chance to stand out in the rain long enough for it to become truly soaked. The interior pockets are extensive and well-designed. I know it is rather at odds with the design philosophy, but a hip belt that stows similarly to the straps would be fantastic if you're carrying a decent amount of weight for an extended period. That's a reasonable compromise here because the pack is sleek and unadorned with MOLLE webbing and other features you would find on a more "tactical" backpack. That plain design makes it very well-suited to urban environments where it will be less likely to draw attention. I have one of the tech pouches which fits well with it. Overall, the pack is spacious without being bulky and comfortable for typical travel. From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I love the sage color, too. It's a bit unique, but fits my love of nature, too. Peak Design puts a lot of R&D into their products and it pays off. This backpack is no exception. Read more

Durable and capacious backpack suitable for travel or school. Backpacks from other brands that shall not be named tend to have weak spots that are revealed under heavy use. This backpack's straps are reinforced, and the zippers are the solid type that won't fall apart in a year or two. Water bottle side pockets are deep enough that the bottle won't fall out. I use one for an umbrella and the other for the bottle. Final point. It stands up when placed on the floor and won't fall over unless you push it hard. Well worth the money. Read more

Pros: truly excellent design. Many features and well thought out design that make for a great and functional user experience. The hidden Pockets, unique strap stowage design, premium material, sizable water bottle holders on both sides, and much more. Cons: it was not the most comfortable to wear. The straps were a shorter length for this size bag. The waist strap was very short, it couldn't be removed but was easy enough to stow. They were uncomfortable, but similar products felt better. (I am taller and larger than the average person, most would find it suitable I think) I did really contemplating between this bag and another, unfortunately the other won out. I still look forward to their products in the future! Read more

Watched countless YouTube videos in regards to the ultimate tech / travel bag. I had been carrying a North Face Router for the past four years. Kept getting annoyed with the shoulder / hip straps always in the way. This Peak Design has a very clever system for storing all of those straps. Multiple pockets and zippered areas. I carry a 15" Dell XPS and no issues with the sleeve. Just a bombproof piece all the way around. Also ordered and considered the WANDRD Transit travel 35L. To me, no comparison as the Peak Design is just way more thought out. The X-Pac fabric seems / appears to be very durable. Time will tell. If you enjoy minimalist design, carrying something sleek and of very high quality....the search is over. Thank you Peak Design! Read more

I keep buying all of their products now.. this one is epic. Well made, strong, and super easy to access for traveling internationally. A little heavy for everyday use, but that’s why I bought the travel backpack 25L. This thing will hold enough stuff for two weeks and keep your laptop and documents safe as well. And made from recycled fishing line?? What a cool company. Well done again peak design x Read more

I have an older (and cheaper) backpack that is smaller and a bit ragged from relatively small amount of use. Bought this backpack for an extended trip. Needed the room. Appreciated the design. Hoped for more durability. Needed to fit under airplane seat. In use it worked. Held 2 laptops plus panel for second screen along with a lot of gear. Held up great. Appears water resistant as I also had to walk in the rain with it on; everything stayed dry. I bought cheaper compression bags to compartmentalize gear in bag (the specialty bags this vendor sells are overpriced). On initial look, zippers appear weak but after actual use they are solid. This bag works and I can see value from using this bag over a long period of time. Read more
