My husband likes the feel of the glycerin soap, no residue left on the skin and light, pleasant smell. This is a good alternative to Dial glycerin soap that is no longer made. The larger bar lasts a long time. Packaging was good and on time. Read more

Pear’s is the best soap! Very gentle on your skin- no strong chemicals. Use every day, I used it in morning and evening and you will start to be gaining some etc. Read more
Good soap but smell "medicinny".
The soap works well as a glycerin soap, lathers reasonably well and gets you feeling clean but it does have a vaguely medicine-type odor which is a bit off-putting but doesn't linger after your shower. The blue version of this soap doesn't have the same odor. Read more

Best reasonably priced glycerine soap
Been using this glycerine soap for showering for 15-20 years. It is not as good as what Pears made 15 years ago, but it is still the best, reasonably priced non allergenic soap out there. Does not dry out your skin, rinses CLEAN and is not harsh. I still buy Nuetrogena original glycerine soap for washing my face….. But Nuetrogena is a bit pricy for total body showering. Pears IS the best bang for the buck. Read more
