Pebblebee Card 5 vs Chipolo Card

TLDR: The short answer for me personally is that I prefer the Card 5. It has a QR code that you can configure in the Pebblebee app. When somebody scans it, you can relay a message to them. I have it display my phone number so my lost item can find its way back to me. Longer review: Purchased this a couple of months ago and use it with the Apple Find My network on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. It's loud enough and the battery has lasted for over a month with no issues. I also purchased a Chipolo CARD to carry in my bag. I bought that one last week alongside a Chipolo LOOP. Both have Bluetooth 6.0, but the Pebblebee is only Bluetooth 5.4-compatible. The Chipolo supports Bluetooth 6.0, so you get Channel Sounding as a feature. I don't know if Apple's Find My network supports channel sounding quite yet, but my phone doesn't so this doesn't matter to me. The Chipolo app allows you to configure left-behind alerts, which is great if you're on Android as the Find Hub does not give you that option. Since Apple's Find My does, I don't need this feature. The Chipolo lacks the QR code that the Pebblebee has printed on it, which means it's less likely that a stranger will be able to return your lost item. This is more important to me than channel sounding, as that's effectively a vaporware feature in February, 2026. As far as I can tell, these card trackers both lack NFC, so it's not like somebody could hold the device to their phone to trigger a similar sort of effect to said QR code. The Chipolo probably makes more sense for you if you're an Android user, however, the lack of a QR code on the Chipolo means that I ultimately prefer the Pebblebee. Read more

Tracks for a few days, then it stops working, even after factory resetting.

Does not work at all. Got this to track my wallet. Setup was fine at first (didn't pair to Find Hub), but I was able to factory reset it, and then Google Find Hub recognized it. It was tracking location fine for the first few days, then it went silent. Location wouldn't update at all. Factory reset again. Location worked again for a couple days, and it, again, stopped tracking. Not reliable at all, would not recommend. Read more

Finally, a great tracker that works natively with both Android and iOS.

These handy little cards are amazing and as accurate as any tracker I've owned. They are literally the size of a credit card with about 1.5x the thickness. The best part is that it doesn't matter which mobile platform you're on, these will work with both Apple's "Find My" and Android's "Find My Device" systems, though you do have to pick one platform or the other. Once it's paired to Android, iOS can't use it unless it's re-paired, and vice-versa. And one of the best features is that they recharge by laying them on any Qi charger, though the charge seems to last a long time since I haven't had to recharge yet. Read more

Worthless garbage

Absolute garbage. I've been trying to link it to my phone for hours now. There are no instructions in the box other than a link to the website. There are no instructions for trouble shooting should the instructions on the website fail. There are no options to trouble shoot other than doing a factory reset, and there is no way to confirm the reset worked. There is no way to completely start the install process over, which means there is no way to ensure you're getting a clean install if it failed to install correctly the 1st time. Worthless. lots of problems at first, but working much better after the most recent update

When I first got it, it kept disconnecting from Google Find Hub, which is unacceptable since that is this thing's only purpose (for an Android user). After the most recent update, it has not fallen off of Find Hub yet, so I'll tentatively give this four stars. If it turns out they really have solved the issue, I might bump it up another star. I do like how thin it is. I have not needed to charge it since the battery supposedly last 18 months, so I'm not sure how well the wireless charging works. Read more

Great Birthday Gift

I bought this as a birthday present as my friend always seemed to lose his wallet, ever since getting this, finding it has been a breeze (even though most times he leaves it in a stupid spot)! It is a little on the thick side compared to a credit card, but considering how its a tracker, its very slim. Im sure there are cheaper options, but would you feel comfortable with a cheap tracker when you need to find your ID, debit cards, etc? Read more
