This mat is very nice. It’s nice to use on my bedroom floor. It’s thick enough that my knees don’t hurt when I’m on my knees. I don’t slide around while I do my stretches. When I first got the mat it had a rubber smell but not so much now. It does roll up on one end especially but I reverse it when I roll it up when I’m done so I think the curl is coming out. I like the mat and glad I bought. Read more
I've tried so many workout mats and none of them compare to this one. I do pilates daily and this mat is perfect. Its sticky when needed for holding planks and enough cushioning to support the tail bone when doing floor work. Would 100% recommend this mat. Pricier than others but well worth it. Read more
I have two of these, one direct from Peloton and bought one on Amazon during Black Friday for 50 bucks as a gift. Great investment if you do yoga or stretching frequently. It’s thick and durable and I like the details they added to it Read more
Not sure how I did strength workouts before using a mat. I haven’t used the yoga side but I love the black side for strength workouts. Doesn’t slide on hardwood and keeps me from sliding around as well. Read more
It's a pretty decent exercise mat. It does get a bit slippery on the black side when the sweat angels are fiercest. And the rubber smell is extremely strong and lasts for weeks. Ew, it was really bad on my hands for the first few weeks, too. Read more
I was so tired of my husband using. my mat and sweating all over it... Decided to get him his own. He is 6'4" and this is one of the few mats that wokrs for him. Its wider than most traditional yoga mats. I am 5'4" and its perfect for me. We both do strength training and ab work on the mat and I also do barre and yoga. We always have the black side up. Not sure what the red side is for. Read more
I ordered this mat for my husband in November 2023. I already had this exact mat myself that I ordered directly from Peloton and my husband really liked it. I decided to order his from Amazon because the price was so much better. Unfortunately, when we received this mat, it was extremely dusty, not as cushioned as the other mat, and not as flexible and easy to roll up. It didn't necessarily seem used, but it did make us think that it may have been in a storage facility or somewhere too long and had dry-rotted because the quality was not the same as mine at all. We returned the mat and I ordered one directly from Peloton (and paid a lot more). The mat directly from Peloton was exactly like my mat and in perfect condition. It makes me question if the other mat was authentic. Read more
Appeared to be a good decent quality for $40 but the smell is rather strong (VOO) and the wrap curled the ends took many months to flatten... maybe these are old stock? But overall it is a good decent value for yoga as it does not slip with sweaty hands (I have not tested in a hot yoga like bikram) but in 80-90 degreed room it performs well! Hated the curling though, took months to ease them even after reverse roll them - be careful of not pressing too hard as it will crease the mat! Read more
