It works great, BUT it was not long enough for my car considering the battery is in the trunk. However, I just bought a USB c extension and it has been working great otherwise. It was easy to install. Future advice to the maker is to make one with a longer cable as an option. Backtracked and purchased this kit for continual recording. It froze on me once. It was warm so it may have begun to overheat. After a few tries I turned it off. It did not turn off initially when I pressed the button. I’m hoping the mechanism to stop recording automatically comes on so my battery won’t get drained. We will see over time if I have to buy a new battery I will have to disconnect continuous recording. Read more

it’s a good kit for 24/7 dash cam monitoring but did end up draining my car battery quicker which had to be replaced unfortunately. The night vision is good and it seems to be working well for the last few months i’ve used it. Read more

I would truly do business with this company again because I had a bad experience with my first kit and Pelsee reached out to me personally and offered their sincere apologies they offered to send me a new replacement and also refunded me full credit to my account. I tested this with a Pelsee P1 Pro, and it did not work - the unit never stopped recording and the power draw never decreased. I checked it with an ammeter, and it stayed at around 200mA no matter whether it was in parking mode or not. I also verified the timelapse function was disabled, just to be sure, and it still didn't work. The ACC light did turn off when the car was powered off, so I know it was wired correctly, but the current never dropped. To be fair, the Pelsee P1 Pro camera is a great deal, and I like it a lot, but this cable does not do what it says. Read more

While the dash cam would be 4 stars (only) due to the incompatibility, the customer service (Shaelyn) was beyond helpful and responsive. I don’t think I have encountered a better Customer Service experience that I have with Pelsee. Read more
