Pemacom Truck Dash Cam Easy-Steup Dual Camera 4K Front and 2K Rear with Night Vision GPS WiFi Clear

I purchased this dash camera to use in my commuter car. I like that it has a 4k front facing and a 2k rear facing camera and you can't beat the price. When I received the camera, the packaging was good and everything was protected very well. The installation is very easy and will take anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on how you want the cables routed. It took me about 45 minutes to rout the camera wires from the back to the front and then down to the 12v plug. I tucked the wires into the headliner, weatherstrip and pillars, so that you don't see the them. The plastic tool that was provided in the kit, made removing inside panels very easy. Using the suction cup with built-in GPS was easy, just make sure to clean the windshield well before attaching. After installing the App on an Android phone, I was able to connect to the camera within a few minutes. The App seems easy to use and it makes changing settings and viewing video easy. The GPS seems to work good and the sound it good also. Almost all of my video's were taken during the day, the quality of the video's is good on both front and rear cameras. I finally found a dash cam that’s great and just what I needed! I’ve been wanting to get one for ages, and after reading tons of reviews and recommendations, most dash cams don’t get good reviews. Plus, the ones recommended by “experts” are pricey and still don’t live up to the hype. Then I saw this one by Pemacom. I recognized the name because I bought another one of their products last year—an RV backup camera. I was so impressed with the backup camera that I decided to order this dash cam. I’ve had the dash cam for a couple of weeks now, and I can say that I’m very impressed with the quality of the recordings, features, and value. Setting it up was a breeze. There are lots of options and driver assist features, and the playback recordings are crystal clear and sharp. It comes with both front and rear cameras, plus a 64GB SD card pre-installed. Great quality camera, before this I didn’t have a back up camera and to have one that is also a dash camera is amazing in my car! It is super easy to install and the video quality is amazing. First off I’d like to start with saying I would recommend this product to a friend. However, that would be with a disclaimer. The customer support does not respond to your questions. That said the camera works great and takes nice clear high quality pictures. The GPS seems to work good I compared it to my speed limit and video review. Sure enough it showed the location and the speed. I was going at that location accurately. However, I did need to contact customer support about one minor issue and customer support has yet to call me back. That is why I gave this a four star and it not a five star rating. I have since figured it out on my own. UPDATE: i’ve recently found that the suction mount for the camera is inadequate and will not hold the camera in place. My camera has fallen off of the windshield three times now and I can’t get customer support. So I’m going to try putting Velcro on the mount and Velcro it to my windshield. I would hate to have to take out all the wiring I put in for this camera to return it, especially since it takes good pictures and video but if I can’t keep it on the windshield, it’s worthless to me. I am very pleased with my Pemacom Truck Dash Cam. It's a plug and play that comes with everything that you need. It's easy to install. The rear cam was easy to mount. It comes with a strong adhesive tape that sticks and stays in place. The front cam has a good strong suction mount with a lock & unlock lever. It definitely stays in place once you lock it. The most challenging part of the installation was tucking away the wires. However, it was not a deal breaker. Once you have everything connected and the app is downloaded the remainder is a breeze. It works like a charm! I had to play around with my phone for a little bit to get the dash cam to connect properly. In the end I was successful. I still have to go over the instruction manual in detail since it has many various settings. It's a nice unit and well worth the price. I only wish that the green WiFi icon indicator was larger. It's really small and hard for me to see it clearly. Even with my glasses on it's difficult to see it. However, I still really like this Dash Cam. Read more

I like this dash cam because it has strong video quality and useful features without being too complicated. The 4K front video is sharp, the rear 2K camera adds extra safety, and the night vision helps in low light. WiFi is handy for saving clips quickly, and GPS records route and speed. The loop recording will overwrite older clips when full, so I don't need to worry the recording capacity. I installed a 64GB microSD card and I think it is large enough. The suction cup mount is stable and stays in place as long as the windshield is clean. Parking monitoring is a nice extra, for longer use it’s better with a hardwire kit or external power. Read more

Overall the camera is great, especially for the price. It's very simple and user friendly to use. The customer service is great, I needed a special power cord to hardwire it to my truck and they were able to get it to me fast. The quality is very clear crystal clear on thw camera as well. My only complaint is that it doesn't stay stuck to my window very well so I used 3m double sided tape to hold it on better and thats fixed the problem. Read more

I have loved this camera. It is very easy to setup and use. Has great storage and picture quality. The only thing I wish was different is the plug for power. I only have one cigarette lighter plug in my car unfortunately so I had to relocate another item for this. If it had an option for usb or usb-c that would be amazing!!
