I bought one of these file cabinets a few years ago and really like it. It has built in brackets (may not be the right word) that allow hanging files to hang and slide. You don't need a wire rack inserted in the drawers for hanging file folders. I needed another file cabinet so I bought one more of this same brand. I really like this file cabinet! It's well made, not flimsy like I've seen in stores. The 25" long drawers run smoothly and pull out all the way, so no more struggling to reach files in the back! And I've not had any tipping forward issues, like with light weight cabinets, when the drawer is pulled out. The company could use a little more Styrofoam to package it. The corners are thickly padded in the box but not the sides. This one has a small dent, low on one side, but not enough to send it back. Excellent deep-drawer file cabinet. It came in dented, but by the time I got it out of the box, the packaging was destroyed. Other than that, be sure that you have enough depth to fit this cabinet. I miscalculated and was planning on putting this in an accordion-style door closet and it was 2” too deep (that’s what she said) It’s super sturdy though and the cabinet drawers, even though the outside was dented, open and close smoothly and it seems to be a solid build. This cabinet arrived quickly and in perfect condition. There wasn't a scratch on it. I have the drawers completely filled with paper instruction booklets, and the drawers glide smoothly and easily. The bottom several drawers have dividers built in, and I haven't figured out yet if those are removable or not. The only thing, I guess, that would make this better would be removable/addable dividers in every drawer, just to help keep things upright. I should note that I do NOT use hanging files. My leaflets are in there loose. The bottom of each drawer has regular ridges in it, I would assume to help strengthen the drawer bottom. They are metal and smooth, and they aren't giving me any trouble with storing my products. I was nervous ordering a cabinet online, especially since I read a lot of reviews online about cabinets arriving damaged. I wanted something heavy duty, so I just ordered the heaviest one I could find. This one did not disappoint! Update: I've been using these cabinets for several years now (I now have SIX!) They get daily, regular usage, open and close, open and close, open and close. They are still in great shape, are smooth to operate, and do not look worn, even with how much I use them (some of those drawers I may open a few dozen times a day each.) We ordered 3 cabinets and 2 of them came with these dents. They are still usable and not sure if the damage came from the seller or the delivery. Other than these dents, the product is good. Read more
