The bottle leaked a lot during shipping, to the point that the decorative cardboard product display box was absolutely drenched but the collophane around the decorative box kept everything self-contained. I washed the bottle as best I could but the cap that covers the spray pump is made mostly of wood and that soaked up a lot of the scent. It dissolved the black paint on the wood which made a bigger mess. The problem with the bottle is that the pump spray part of it screws off from the glass bottle. If it were securely attached like other bottles I have, it probably wouldn't have leaked. It's just a bad design. I got this perfume/cologne because I was looking for something more earthy than the sweeter fragrances I already own. I wouldn't say it's fruity or anything, but it just doesn't have the earthy wood like scents I was hoping for. I don't particularly care for it. It's also really strong and there's nothing really subtle about it. When it come down to it, my wife finds it overwhelming and repulsive. I had used this a few times after finally getting past the messy first impression. As many others stated, the bottle arrived leaking, which was frustrating and made everything sticky right out of the box. Once I cleaned it up and actually tried the scent, I understood why people have mixed reactions. It is bold, very woody, and definitely not subtle. On my skin, the scent leaned heavily toward sharp woods and resin, almost pine like, with a musky incense quality underneath. I did not get much sweetness from the vanilla, and it felt less blended than I expected. That said, it lasted a long time, even after washing my hands. It is intense and projects a lot, so a little goes a long way. Ease of use was average. The bottle includes a plastic applicator piece that did not really add much value for me. I found it easier to just put a small amount directly on my skin. The biggest usability issue was the leaking bottle, which seems to be a common problem. For the price point, this feels like a low end cologne with strong performance but uneven execution. Ten dollars is not much for something that lasts this long, but the scent profile will not be for everyone. If you like very musky, woody, incense heavy fragrances, you might enjoy it. I took another chance in purchasing this brand cologne, and I am truly happy to say I LOVE the scent. The scent is seductive, light, not over powering, but makes a masculine statement. And the only reason why I give it a 4 star versus a 5 star rating is that it the scent does not quite linger long enough as to how I would like it to. But overall, it was worth the purchase. Having spent over a decade in the Middle East, I know exactly what real oud smells like the moment I encounter it. That’s why this recent trend of labeling anything remotely woody as “oud” is honestly frustrating. This fragrance feels like a cheap imitation of authentic oud, with maybe 10% resemblance at best. My first impression wasn’t great either—the package arrived with the perfume leaked all over it. Once you get past the poor packaging, the rest of the experience pretty much matches the price point. The scent is extremely strong at first, to the point where it could easily give people around you a headache if you’re not careful with spraying. Unfortunately, that intensity doesn’t last. After a few hours, the fragrance fades so much that you can barely tell you’re wearing it at all. Overall, I just couldn’t bring myself to like this.
