Careful who you get it from. If it comes as a liquid, send it back. It should be a gel. Overall, the Perio Protect works for me. Does a great job to settle down inflamed gums and even seems to help with bleeding when flossing. It doesn’t taste great, but it does help with overall oral health. Read more

My dentist recommend I use this gel with my teeth whitening trays to help with healthy gums. I purchased my first tube from my dentist but of course turned to Amazon for more. The price was a little high so I purchased another brand and OMG what a mistake that was! The other brand tasted so bad I literally could not stand to leave the trays in for even a minute. So I coughed up the extra money and came back to this brand. Lesson learned. Read more

The burial restore is exactly what my periodontist would have me use in a tray but at a exorbitant price. The biggest issue with this bringing it down to three stars is the plastic tray. It does not mold at the recommended temperature my teeth leave no impression. I had to increase the water temperature to at least 130 degrees to get a minimum impression. Given some people complained about the trays melting or deforming I left it at that and I'm using it now but the fit is not correct as it would be from a custom $600 tray from my periodontist. Neither the supplier nor the provider manufacturer responded to me as far as what temperature these should be heated to. For the cost that's just not acceptable. Read more
