I originally ordered the mouse and the Wi-Fi dongle was not there, but within 24 hours they had a replacement up and ready out and replaced. The mouse itself fits in the hand wonderfully. It's probably the most comfortable thing I've ever actually used with my gaming. Totally happy. Read more

Husband loves this! He bought it to pair with his OLED steam deck and he said it had a small adjustment period but that he loves it because his hand doesn’t cramp on long sessions Read more

The Perixx company continues to impress me. Decided to give a try to these upright/vertical/handshake grip style mice. Got this one for $11.99 Prime. First off, this review is for the WIRED version (which is clearly stated in the title, but looking at the reviews, some people didn't notice). it illuminates! which came as a surprise. the bar on the thumb portion glows a very awesome blue, which is EXACTLY the same color as my Perixx wired keyboard (a hidden bonus). Had seen some pictures of this mouse (which is very similar if not identical to the Anker version here: Anker 2.4G Wireless Vertical Ergonomic Optical Mouse, 800 / 1200 /1600DPI, 5 Buttons - Black and the Sharkk version here: SHARKK Vertical Mouse Ergonomic High Precision Optical Mice Super Comfortable Wired Mouse ) online where someone used MS Paint to draw a blue line where the unit glows. i can confirm it glows all by itself. Have only used it for an hour, and already i am very pleased with it. Mousing feels a bit awkward after 30 years using a typical mouse, but my wrist already feels more comfortable, and i'll get used to the new configuration sooner or later. The "High Quality Rubber Coating Surface" is odd in a good way. it looks like a matte plastic finish, but has more grip than plain plastic should have (if that makes sense). I guess it's to give people peace of mind that they won't lose their grip on the mouse, but as it is so lightweight, it's a non-issue for me, personally. It is not a thick layer, in any case. It has no extra give (like a neoprene sleeve would have). The cord is plain plastic. the cord for my Perixx keyboard ( Perixx PX-2000, Programmable Backlit Gaming Keyboard - 6 Macro Keys with 3 User Profile - Blue Illuminated Backlit Keys - Gold-plated USB Connector - 6 Feet Braided Fiber Cable was braided, so i guess i was hoping this one would be too...but it did not specifically say it was. (and really, i wouldn't really expect a braided cord cover for the price i paid for this mouse.) I had never heard of Perixx before i bought my keyboard (August 2013, and still going strong), but i have had nothing but positive experiences with their products thus far. Would highly recommend this mouse specifically and Perixx products in general. Update: 5 years on, and the mouse is still going strong. The blue illluminated portion flickers now, when it is on--it isn't most of the time anymore--but the mouse is still perfectly functional. Very impressed. Read more

I bought this Perixx 713R Mouse in September 2025 and in just 3 short months it won't charge. It had been showing signs that something was wrong for the past few weeks when I had to recharge it several times. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to trust a manufacturing company to build products that last a long time instead of this world where we accept the flaws in cheap manufacturing because we've become accustomed to this profit diven, low quality merchandise and the acceptance that this is how the world works. I'm an old man and the memory of being able to trust in a company's product and the guarantee of quality was taken for granted.. Wishful thinking and merciful memory, perhaps. Whatever happened to the concept of "boycott" where large and small societies of people express disapproval in a sure-fire way that is sure to apply their displeasure... Hit em in the pocket-book. When these companies lose money and share holders they WILL see the light. Have we grown into such a lazy society where the work needed to make change is just too inconvenient? Read more

Review for new Perixx PERIMICE-713RX ‘vertical’ mouse purchased 31-Oct-2025 The pictures and specs indicate it is “Silent Click” or “soundless” and it is not, but it is somewhat quieter than the mouse it replaced. The item I purchased was described as being: “Perixx PERIMICE-713RX” but what I received is marked as: “Perixx PERIMICE-713R”. The “713R” detail shows on both the box my device came in plus on the box pictured on the Amazon page for this item. The specs show that this device is powered by a single AA battery that is included but there is no battery compartment and no separate battery (since this is rechargeable and the internal battery is not customer serviceable). The charging pad has a very annoying “feature” of having a constantly changing pattern of lights showing around the circumference of the pad that cannot be controlled of turned off or dimmed by the user (except by unplug it!) The required alignment of the mouse on the charging pad is not particularly forgiving but you can get it by trial and error (you know you have it where it is charging when the curved light pipe under the thumb area lights up). I made the mistake of assuming that since this was a product of Germany rather than some Asian sweat shop that it might be made to a higher quality with great attention to detail. I no longer think that. It is run of the mill at best, but it is also pretty cheap. Read more
