Excellent product! Fixed my Angel Fish's tank. Very easy to use. Also figured out how to multi-task this product when a patch on my Uniform got loose on one end. I did not have access to a sewing machine, and this actually fixed my patch from hangin off! It even held going through the washing machine. Read more

This product works as advertised. I have a basketball hoop and the plastic base got cracked. This was able to seal the crack well and the basin is holding water well. We'll see how it stands up over time but the epoxy dried hard and smooth so it looks promising. As noted by others... you need to work fast when using this! My first attempt at using this product didn't work out well as I took too long, and before I had finished painstakingly applying the epoxy mix it grew extremely hot and started to harden before I'd applied much of it. My second attempt I was ready and worked quickly. One thing worth noting is that the epoxy comes out quite runny so if you're applying to a curved surface be aware of that, and you might want to just cut a corner of the epoxy packet so that you are applying a narrow-ish stream with more control than what I initially did. There is more material in here than I initially anticipated. Read more

This seemed to work well, and repaired the 140 gallon tank rock solid, but be advised when they say that after mixing the epoxy - that it can get hot. They don't mean hot, they mean HOT and it WILL burn your fingers if you aren't careful. The chemical reaction works fast, so plan on spreading it all out within 60-90 seconds. After that, the bag of the remaining mix will be too hot to even touch, so put it on a paper plate that you can just toss afterwards. I also feel they could give you more epoxy because I felt I was about 10% low. But overall the repair went well, and no leaks at this point in the tank. Highly recommended. Read more

The product does not give you enough time to set it properly. If you follow the instructions and mix the two pouches together. The heat from the product is a bit uncomfortable for your hands and while trying to apply it properly it will get hard in the pouch and set wherever you have applied it. This doesn't give you much time to properly distribute it over your area and seal it. This might be a fantastic product overall but it is hard to find out when you are not able to apply it properly. As far as performance I am not there yet. Maybe if I can find a way to apply it properly then I can see how well it performs and the quality on Read more

Saved a bunch of money, trouble, and time! The black water (toilet) tank on my trailer was cracked right where the outlet pipe exits and leads to the dump fittings. I was worried because there was so little space around the crack to apply solvents or patch material, but this kit handled it with no problems. As with most projects, prep was important. I scrubbed the area with a Simple Green solution to clean and degrease, then followed the instructions carefully. The use of fiberglass and resin makes the patch incredibly versatile. Because the fiberglass fabric is flexible, I was able to patch beyond the crack even around bends and up onto the pipe to make a strong bond. If you can make a peanut butter sandwich, you can successfully use this kit. Quick tip: the incident that caused the crack happened on a trip, so I bought extra kits to keep in the trailer. The kit really has everything you need so you could easily make repairs while travelling. Can't say how grateful I am for such a well-made and well-executed product. Read more

The instructions specifically state that you have 8 minutes once you've introduced both parts of the epoxy to each other. I kneaded the two together within the package like instructed, until completely mixed, maybe 20 seconds. Cut off a corner of the packet and spread the epoxy on the tank, maybe another 20 seconds. I then put the mesh on top of the spread epoxy and then spread the epoxy on top of the mesh, covering it and brushing it in. Within about 30 seconds, the packet was VERY HOT and already solidifying in clumps inside the packet. I tried to push out any residual that hadn't hardened to save this repair but the epoxy was already stringy and hardened. There was literally no way for me to do this any faster than I did. 8 Minutes would have been more than sufficient to accomplish this repair. Unfortunately, this product hardens in around 2 minutes from the time you mix the 2 part epoxy together. Either I got a defective batch or this product simply doesn't live up to it's claims. Either way, don't waste your money. Read more

Update- tank started leaking again. It is a location where the tank does flex though so I guess to be expected. Would probably last quite awhile where a repair is made with out flex. I used this as a last resort to stop a very small leak in the top corner of a HDPE RV fresh water tank. I have attempted plastic welding and multiple epoxies. All have eventually failed. Took a flier on this based on a few other successful reviews. The packaging does say not recommended for HDPE plastic (didn't see that in the online specs fyi) but hey, it is holding on a small leak. The location of the leak is at a point that flexes a lot when the tank is filled (guess that is why it started leaking there) but this material seems to maintain some flexibility compared to the other epoxies I have tried. Will see how it fairs come cooler weather. As a side note, this stuff gets really hot and has minimal working time. Make sure your are set and ready to go when the 2 parts mix. Just saying. Read more

I have used this in the past to repair my reservoir on my older car. It was in the reservoir neck area. Repairs well within couple hours. I ended up not using this as the repair area was too big and not worth it. This is a great product and would consider this again next time. Read more
