Through the VINE program, I ordered the Perry Ellis Men's Double Weave 5-Pocket Pants with Slim Fit and 2-Way Stretch. Now, a size 44 slim fit has always been a joke for me when buying clothing, since it is an oxymoron. However, these pants fit great. Feel of the material is excellent. The stretchy fabric's comfort is wonderful. The pants are easy to carefore and remain wrinkle-free. They have remained colorfast through multiple washes, and still look and feel great. These pants fit great and look even better. The stitching and seams are clean and well done, giving them a durable feel without being too heavy or thick. The material strikes a nice balance between structure and comfort. I usually don’t go for slim fit, but these were surprisingly comfortable and didn’t feel restrictive at all. They work well for both casual and slightly more dressed-up occasions. I’ll definitely be looking to buy additional pairs in other colors. Solid quality and a good overall value. Read more

These are pretty nice pants. They seem to be true-to-size. They're easy to wash and maintain. And they can be dressed up or down accordingly. They pair equally as well with a tee-shirt as they do a dress shirt, which is great. I got them in Sapphire Blue, and it's quite an attractive color that is unlikely to fade very much. Why is it unlikely? The answer is also the biggest negative about these pants. They are unlikely to fade because they are made with a lot of synthetic materials. The pants are going to be fade-resistant and hold their shape for a long time, but it comes at a cost. I personally don't know why Slim Fit pants would need to be stretchy. I would think the opposite. But in today's fashion world it's getting hard to find 100 percent cotton chinos anymore. They all have a certain amount of give, perhaps so that they don't require ironing. These pants are no exception. Not only are they unnecessarily stretchy, but the fabric attracts lint. The first time I wore them I was picking off pieces of lint the entire evening... and the lint seemed to multiply. Without a lint roller handy, it was a losing battle. I just thought you should be warned. The cut of the pants is slightly questionable. For thin-fit pants, I wouldn't have thought the thighs would be cut so wide. They made me self-conscious that I had what looks like saddles bags. There's not much you can do about it if your upper legs are not crazy beefy. Otherwise, though, they are very, very comfortable. So the cut and the fabric are basically my only complaints. Other than that, they're nice. I washed them prior to wearing them for a first time. They came out of the washer and dryer looking sharp and yet relaxed at the same time. I did not notice if they had lint from the dryer on them, but I believe I was picking up the lint after putting them on. I really like the pockets. They're appropriately large to house a cell phone, wallet, keys, ear buds, etc. Their overall construction seems to be high quality. The belt loops are sufficient to accommodate most wider-than-average belts. The tapered legs look good with a variety of shoes from sneakers to dress shoes. I'm not sure they'd look so hot with big thick shoes (and definitely not boots). Despite the lint and saddle bags issues I know I will get plenty of wear out of these pants. And they're probably worth the money because they will stand the test of time. They'll go out of fashion quicker than they will show signs of wear and tear. Read more

Over the years I have had various pieces of Perry Ellis clothing in my wardrobe. A few shirts, some pants, socks and ties. The Perry Ellis clothing I have had has always been comfortable, has always looked great, and has always lasted a long time. When I saw these pants, I really liked how they looked. I liked the fact they looked like jeans, but were really not jeans and that I would be able to wear them to work or wear them on a Friday or Saturday night while out and about. These pants feel extremely soft right out of the package. They are made of a blend of cotton, polyester, and elastane, and there is a touch of stretchiness to the material. These pants look great with a dark shirt, either button down or polo style. There are multiple colors to choose from and you cannot go wrong with either the black, dark blue, or khaki colors. All are classic colors and offer lots of options as far as what shirt to wear with them. These pants are comfortable and look great. They are machine washable, and do not need ironing as long as you take them out of the dryer immediately after they are finished drying. There are 5 pockets, and the fly enclosure is the zipper. As usual, I am satisfied with the quality of this Perry Ellis garment. I don't have a ton of Perry Ellis garments, but I am very happy with the ones that I do have and these pants are no exceptions.
