This belt is quality made. I've had two for over 6 months now and wear them daily to work. Even after 6 months they show little to no wear. I work in a federal building and need to go through metal detectors every day. My other belts would set off the metal detector which meant I needed to remove the belt every time I entered the building. I bought this belt specifically because people said it didn't set the metal detectors off. This is true with the detectors I walk through, which seem to be more sensitive than those at the airport. In their current state, I expect this belt to last a year or more before being replaced ... even with daily wear. I don't know if there is any real leather in these belts, but they look good and appear like leather. Read more

Belts are hard to review the day after receiving it as durability and quality is measured over time. That being said, the product received was as advertised at a very good price, I've paid much more for similar belts at department stores.
