Wanted a plain black plate for the front of my Volvo to cover up the ugly bracket and found this item to be perfect. For only $4, it does the job admirably. A bit thin, it still feels sturdy enough for the task and seems to be well made. Fit is good; it's the appropriate size and the screw holes offer some flexibility. The matte black color looks good and matches the black plastic cladding on the car. Having been on the car for several weeks, it seems to take road abuse fairly well. Overall, a good value. *arrived perfectly clean and undented* i tested the durability a bit, hence any creases you may see in the pictures. The customizable side is slightly textured, so you can do your own vinyl transfers onto.. it's thin and light and doesn't bend easily. You'll need to apply a little effort and care if you want more creative positioning like putting on a motorcycle curved holder or similar. Otherwise, it functions just fine - the mounting holes are nice and long so there should be zero issues mounting on the car. it'll fit my motorcycle just as easily as my outlander. This is so flimsy, I could just fold the whole thing in half if I put a little effort. It's thin too and not very durable. It fit on my front license plate spot okay and the screw holes line up so it was pretty easy to intall, although you will have to get your own screws because it doesn't come with any. Read more

A simple stamped aluminum plate with 4 holes and powdercoated in black. Looks nice. The thickness is slightly less than most official state plates, but durable enough. The edges and holes were de-burred well so no cuts. The kit should come with nylon or delrin washers so you can keep the finish nice with using big automotive screws to do the very simple installatiion. The idea for me was to use this instead of a real license plate for Auto shows and have my daughter hand draw something fun in fluorescent ink on the black plate. Read more

I didn't get mine personalized because I'm waiting on a specific sticker to come in that I can place on it but this is what I wanted. I've blacked out my jeep as much as possible and this is my first vehicle (wrangler) that has a front plate set up on it (Georgia). It's not shiny but has a slight matte look and feel. This is a fantastic price for this license plate. It’s a metal plate. I love that they are blank so your creativity can come through. These are perfect for vinyl art. You could probably air brush them as well if you seal it. It comes in so many different colors. I ordered the black and plan to use black reflective vinyl for my project. Read more
