I live in the South, so all year round there’s noise of some kind outside every day. Add to that, one landscaper in the community has a particularly loud mower. Actually deafening if you are near it. You can hear him coming from blocks away, especially living in a wood frame house. He’s usually here early in the morning, for at least two days every week. I’m a night owl, so when these guys come in, they always wake me up. I’m a light sleeper anyway these days. I have tried everything to drown out the noise…turning on the bathroom fan and turning the dehumidifier in the room to the highest setting, and earplugs. To no avail. When he used to do my neighbor’s lawn on the side where my bedroom is, the walls would vibrate! This morning I could hear him coming. So I grabbed the phone and my headband. Success! Some nice jazz music settled me back into sweet slumber in minutes. The sound coming out of the headphones is quite impressive for this kind of thing. I’m a bit of an audiophile, so I am quite picky when it comes to good/acceptable sound from devices like this Headband is quite comfortable. Fits nice without you feeling pull of elastic against your head (I’m a female…with an average size head…?…whatever that is, lol.) Perfect, actually. Nice, soft material. You can adjust earphones a bit to position them just right in band. Cord to recharge it is tucked away in band, too, and easy to retrieve. Another plus…my hair is short and on the thin, fine side. I figured I’d wake up looking like the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Nope. All was good! No more mess than usual on my noggin! Impressive all the way around. Read more

UPDATE: stopped working after about a week of use. They just died out of nowhere and refused to turn on or charge… which is a bummer because they were actually pretty comfortable for sleep. So far these are the most comfortable headphones to sleep in for me. I’m a side sleeper and I’ve tried quite a few different headphones and they were all super uncomfortable… these are pretty great though! My one and only complaint is that they could be a little louder. Otherwise, they are perfect to sleep in! Read more
