The only reason I gave this a try is because there were a lot of positive reviews and it was returnable if it was terrible. And I really expected it to just be okay at best. But I hoped it was better and I'm glad I took the chance - this thing is INCREDIBLE! I'm not sure I really need sofa cleaners, I would rather have had more pet combs, but the design of this is fantastic - the hair is sucked up as you brush. If it gets caught in the brush, as it absolutely does, there's a button you click that loosens it and it gets sucked right up. I thought it was worth it even before I got to the clippers. The clippers. are. fantastic. They came with four guards for four fur lengths, and I haven't got that completely figured out yet, but I clipped my girl's ear hair (always a problem with floppy ears and infections) and did a light trim on her haunches and tail. I don't even have the words to express how well this worked. An absolute pleasure, not the drudgery grooming normally is. I know I'm so positive about this it probably sounds like I'm lying but I just want to tell anyone who is being really careful with their money and wonders if this can really do everything it says - yes, it can and it does. This AsyPets pet grooming vacuum kit comes with everything I need to groom my boy (minus trimming scissors and paw trimmers). My dog often needs his hair trimmed, especially in the warmer months. I ordered this to use to cut his fur, and it works rather well. Even though the canister holds 2L of fur, I do have to empty it often since it fills up quickly when he has longer hair. I like the design of this vacuum with a long hose and power cord, which both can be wrapped around the base for storage. I like the handle on the top so it is easy to move and carry. I do wish the clippers were powered by the vacuum, instead of having to charge it separately, which means I have to make sure it is fully charged before using each time so I can get the most power out of the clippers each time I groom my dog. However, the clippers can be used on their own and not attached to the vacuum hose, so that can be a plus. The only other attachment I have used that’s included in this kit is the thin tube that has a brush on it, which helps clean up any leftover fur after grooming. The clippers come with 4 guide combs, so I can choose what length of fur I’d like to trim my dog’s fur to. I like the upright canister, which means it’s more compact. The vacuum has good suction, and I love the fact there are filters, which are cleanable. It doesn’t have a pouch to hold the attachments, so I had to get one to keep everything together. For the price point, this grooming kit costs just a tad more than a single professional grooming session, so it is well worth the cost, and my boy is much more comfortable being trimmed at home. I do have a small set of clippers that are specifically for his paws, so know the big clippers that come with this aren’t meant to trim beneath a dog’s paws. I’m happy with this product. Read more

We have a 130 pound dog that sheds excessively during the summer. It's like shag carpet peeling off of him. This grooming kit helped more than I can actually tell you. Out of the box we first tried it on our cat. She loves to be vacuumed so we felt like this would be a good test run before we tried it on our big dog. She loved it and here again we were really surprised at how much hair we got off of her. The kit comes with rechargeable grooming shears that attach to the vacuum. We have not used them yet but we have plugged them into the vacuum and tried them out a little bit. They appear to work great. The kit also comes with a couple of different kinds of brushes that attach to the vacuum. The best part about these brushes is that with the push of a button they retract into the handle and this causes all the hair to come loose and be sucked into the vacuum. On our big dog we were shocked at how much hair came off of him and well as how easily the kit handled all the fur. Cleaning the vacuum was really easy. The top pops off, you hold it over the trash then push a button that opens the container with all the hair. It falls out and your done. The vacuum has a couple of different filters. One is a stainless screen and the other is an actual filter. Both did great. We also love how you can control how strong the suction is by speeding up the motor.
