Picking up dog poo isn't something that anyone would consider a pleasant experience, but, owning a dog means we all have the responsibility to do it. It's common courtesy as well. (No one wants their day, or nice shoes, ruined by stepping in dog poo.) I recently adopted a new dog from my local animal shelter (May 2016). I knew that I would be taking lots of walks with my new "fur baby" and also knew that my dog would eventually have to poo during the walk. I decided to search Amazon for some inexpensive dog waste bags. I wasn't really looking for dog waste bags that would be considered "high quality". I just figured that a bag was just a bag. Well, I came across this brand of bags in a previous purchase (My first purchase included 8-rolls totaling 120 bag and also included a nice bag dispenser that attached nicely to my dog's leash). The price was great, so I ended up buying them. When I received my order, I thought, "Ok, now I have dog waste bags that I can clean up after my dog with." It wasn't until I used my first one, to pick up after my dog, that I immediately noticed the high quality of the bags. Ok, I know, you're probably wondering what made me consider the bags as "high quality". A bag is a bag right? Well, once you touch one of these bags, you will immediately notice that these bags feel unlike any other pet waste bag. The material used has a smooth and sturdy feel to them. When I used my first bag, I knew I could be confident that it was going to do the job right and that I didn't need to worry about my hands accidentally getting poo on them. The bags are extremely sturdy and comfortable to use. The size of the bags are perfect for whatever size dog waste you need to pick up. After tying off the bag, I didn't even notice any odor escaping. In fact, there was no odor at all! I was very pleased with these bags that I knew I would be purchasing additional refill bags in the near future. The item I am reviewing is the refill I am speaking about. The price and quality, of these bags, are what will continue to keep purchasing this product. Another huge plus is that these bags are also compostable. I can feel a whole lot better about using these bags knowing that I am also limiting the amount of plastic bags that don't breakdown, but just pile up in our landfills. These Pet N Pet poop bags are durable, and great value. The 1080-count pack would last me around 7-8 months, and I have four dogs. The bags are big enough for large dogs, fit standard holders, and work well to pick up dropping from multiple dogs with just one bag. I only use the unscented version, so I can't common on how well the scented one smells. However, the unscented ones I use, keep the odor in fairly well, if you sealed the bag good. Some other reviews seems noticing the bag thickness difference. I haven't notice the difference between the 3/4 times I ordered these. One suggestion though, not just for this bag but for all these kind of bags, is the opening mechanism can be designed better for easier opening. Just add few small lines of winkles on the top of the bags, so there is some friction between the fingers and the opening of the bag will help a ton. I found it's hard to open the bag if my hands are dry, so I just wet my hand with before opening the bags. If in the field, I'll rub my fingers together a few time to generate some friction and moisture and then bag will be easier to open. Read more

This is the second time I’m buying this product. I’ve have 2 dogs and the first box lasted me ~2 years. The price is great for how much product you get. The bags themselves are good. They hold everything well and I’ve never had them randomly rip on me. My dogs are both medium/large and I’ve never had an issue with the bag’s sizes. I agree with some of the other complaints about the bags being a bit annoying to open if your hands are dry. Also, when initially opening the bags, the sticker holding them in place sometimes causes the first bag to rip if you’re not careful, but this was never a big issue for me.
